The other name for the restaurant, Katie came up with it once upon a Tom, which, since Katie came up with it immediately was not allowed to be used. Lol.
the takeaway i had from tom’s isn’t and the only thing that kind of shocked me was he seemed just SO angry at ariana. and if that’s how he feels, i think it’s ridiculous, but those are his feelings that’s fine… but to have the confidence to express ur rage towards the person u cheated on with ur full chest on a public platform… damn i do think him taking a step back and speaking out less would have a different impact because a lot of people softened to rachel more the longer she was out of the public eye (until she made everyone mad again with her bethany interview lol) but sandoval has just been rambling his excuses over and over this whole time
Yes! You are exactly right. When his friends death was mentioned that’s when he decided he was late😂🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 A true narcissist. He latched right on that. And poor ole Tom Schwartz really, I think, believes him because he’s repeating now. There’s no hope for Schwartz. He will never break away from Sandoval.
Lala defender here 🤚 I think its totally valid for her to only just be processing her emotions of her separation now that the custody battle is somewhat resolved. From experience, when you’re in fight mode trying to piece your life back together it’s easy to disregard all the emotional trauma until things are somewhat resolved. Riley said it was her setting up storylines then in the same sentence said he didn’t recall the custody being a part of season 10 sooo 🫢 Ily turtle cuties 5eva tho😘🐢
i’ve had family who have gone through rough divorces involving children and they were not themselves during those times and really did compartmentalize the pain of the relationship endings putting all their energy in fighting for custody with their kids. so even if some people don’t believe lala is going through that or feel it’s disingenuous, i still think it is nice to see on tv bc im sure a lot of people can relate to that, it’s like u put ur feelings in a box for so long and then when u open it back up again it hits u like a tidal wave
The thing is.... Tom has hus own podcast. So it's not an interviewer issue. Everyone got over it basically. People at this point aren't holding on to anger about the affair. Now it's just a narcissist case study. It's his personality and his lying and his manipulating that people are commenting on.
Lala Kent is a master of switching the script. She didn't want to talk about her bagging of Randall and subsequent divorce and spent all season deflecting onto other cast members, but then Scandaval came up, and she found her scapegoat. Her insane rage-filled bully tactics with Raquel (I'm not defending Raquel here) turned all the empathy the viewers had for her about her divorce on its head, and I'm sure she was shocked by the blowback. She didn't like Ariana and vice versa and never got along with Sandaval, so why was she so invested in something that had literally NOTHING to do with her and involved people she didn't fuck with? Soon after the reunion ended last year, suddenly Lala was faining empathy in the press for Raquel, which felt contrived and a way for her to save face after a disastrous reunion showing. This attempt to save face continues as she spends this entire premiere episode crying about Randall, crying to Ariana, and suddenly having a change of heart about Raquel. It's only been three months. For someone as incapable of processing her feelings in a healthy way, Lala sure had some huge immediate epiphanies since the reunion. It's all BS because, over the past few months, she's taken back any ounce of empathy she has for Raquel and Lala's back to the true form of being an emotional grifter. She's good at this game, a bit on the nose, but she has managed to pull the wool over a lot of people's eyes after this episode.
Agreed. That’s what annoys me. She didn’t want anyone to say a thing about her situation, yet she’s all involved in something that has nothing to do with her in any capacity really
I don't mind, and would actually like to see a hard grilling interview with Tom for once, but I want it from someone who actually cares about Bravo and VPR. Someone who actually watched VPR pre-Scandoval and has seen every single episode, not bandwagoner Nick Viall. Why would I care about his opinion and questioning? He never watched the show.
yeah i think if it wasn’t nick it would have been interesting. someone who is not only a more skilled interviewer but actually knowledgeable of the show and the history. interesting that the only podcasts he’s been on are two guys who know nothing about VPR and two T’s who didn’t push against anything he said
I think there is this victim aura around Tom when he apologizes that makes it feel so inauthentic. I don’t think it was the four sentences that were mentioned that would make people accept his apology. I think it’s taking out the victim mentality and to stop making excuses of his behavior by blaming it on Ariana’s behavior. Like he needs to take actual responsibility because his apologize comes with buts. But I also really don’t care, lol.
I support Rachael Goes Rogue. Why can't she tell her story from her perspective? She has definitely given information that the public did not know. She has also said how sorry she is, and people still say she isn't taking accountability. So weird that people are not listening to her words. But there are people that don't even care to hear what she has to say, and they are just going there to be angry with her, and they won't see her as genuine. It is almost as if no one else on the planet has ever had an affair or done something morally wrong in their lives. How tight do we make the noose before we observe other people as humans who make mistakes and maybe even just forgive them? The reason they keep talking is because they are the ones still receiving the hate.
I was so down on Rachel, but I’ve been listening to her pod and I feel like she is really remorseful and understands the gravity of her actions. Tom should have gone away just like Rachel and keep his mouth shut!
They all make great tv and know how to work the world of reality tv. Rachel doesn’t fit the script. She’s easily manipulated, not an actress nor business minded.
Tom said that him and Nick Viall are good friends since filming that special forces show together Nick did his podcast and he did Nicks its quid pro quo I don't think him showing up hungover or still buzzed with dorty pants and sunglasses on didnt help He needs to not do podcasts if jes mot showing himself in his best light Je definately didnt do himself a gabor in my eues No meed to watch tje show at this poimt
I needed this today! I'm on the edge of my seat with The Reality of a Scandal ⚡
It's not a great offer because he had taken out a second mortgage.
Exactly
Can’t wait for the next three pages of Reality of a Scandal
Thank you Catherine! I was worried people didn't like this update so I appreciate that. - Riley

I love the Reality of a Scandal creation!
Thank you, Tina! I was worried people didn't like this second part - Riley
What outstanding creative minds at work here!!!!

The offer Tom made was pretty bad. The property has appreciated greatly since the purchase.
I think Tom S was on a coke bender for 3 days before rolling up to the NickV podcast
didn’t sweet lady jane make a cake for lisa? it probably cut so deep 😭

Yet he really held Scumdoval’s feet to the fire. It was impressive.,
@@goodcitizen3027 Oh that wasn't my impression at all lol I think an interviewer that could reference history would've done a much better job.
Finally a podcast that is rational about humans being real on a reality show aka not joining the Mob who wants Tom to suffer endlessly.
LINDSAY INVENTED SCIENTOLOGY!!!!

Would someone please watch Nick's podcast and count how many times Sandoval said "dude"
i don’t know if any of us are strong enough to go through the pain of listening to it again to do this 😂
42:42 big fan of Not Another Teen Movie

You say the word "like" as often as Sandoval. Not a great way to communicate.
thank you for the feedback. I'll work on communicating better. - Riley
@@TurtleTimePodI feel maintaining the colloquial integrity is key here as it is a character itself in this particular peer group, and locale
Forcing myself to keep listening after the immediate defense of Tom 😩
Nah couldn't do it, tapped out at 9 minutes. Too pro Tom for me😬 the girl was great though!
