I was just thinking the same. Others do things similarly but it just isn't the same and I don't think I can explain it
@@Arissiah I think most of the other channels are a bit too serious in maintaining the aesthetics as in the videos move a bit too slow and too serene while Annika's include her mistakes and frustrations here and there. And we also got commentaries from her that let us into her thoughts which is relatable and funny.

oh my god annika, please please please in the future never ever eat food or drink out of dented cans. Not only can you get food poisoning, you can get botulism!! AND when a can is bent like that, the plastic lining in all cans flakes off and is in your food!! it is SO risky i am really glad you didn’t get sick.
That's literally what I thought! Botulism is such a complicated diseased its just not worth it :(

Same here and I’m so happy your relationship with food is getting better! I’m autistic and emetophobic and so often I’d just rather not eat than try to find a food that feels safe. Seeing people cook and enjoy their food really helps calm my anxiety around it! Annika will always be my comfort CZcamsr :)

For onigiri I love putting them in with lil sausage links and egg, helps hold them in place if your not stuffing with salads. That and silicone cupcake liners are good to keep shape and not cover other food.
Thet teriyaki recipe looked so good! Also, I'm definitely adding that pasta salad recipe to my summer must-try list!

Also a minor suggestion: when you make chickpea curry , you can blend the onions and tomatoes once they are cooked and then add them to chickpeas... It'll bring more creamy texture and evenness in the curry.
