The symmetry with moving your boat, and you moving forward both with your website and being on the television program is quite a neat trick. And shows how the world has way funny little way of doing things. Hope you have a wonderful week ahead of you

I have left my boat on mooring pins on 4 occasions now and come back to find it floating off. One night in a storm it floated off down the canal and I didn't realise until I pulled open the curtains and saw water on both sides. When I use pins, I now put four in and put them to form a rope triangle at the bow and stern.
Looking forward to seeing your TV adventures!

A walk down the tow path , singing and strumming !
Healthy relaxing easy to prepare food !
    Mays floating herb garden !
With due respect to you May a 10 minute meander on the tow path probably means more to us land Flubbys than the narrow boat fraternity! 😊😊😊😊

I instantly have a smile on my face when I watch your channel. Your positive outlook and lovely smile is an oasis in a world full of horrible stuff.
I struggle to parallel park my car so I’m impressed to watch your skills on the water.
Really look forward to seeing you on the telly, how exciting. Will be checking out your website for sure.
    Take care of yourself 😊👍😊

If you sail alone, it is quite a job to moor safely.
Nice that you are on TV, Chanel 4 can be watched via the internet.

Ace video May. I couldn't be more opposite. I never take my phone out of the boat when moving. I'm too clumsy! O tie my middle rope first.

    Good morning May
I love your "Cheers me dears" it sounds super cheerful. Currently I am in Slovenia and there is so much here that reminds me of England. You would love it here.
Hey what's this "old lady hands" comment, it just shows that you aren't a "princess" lol.
OMG congrats on the tely show. wish I could see it.
Your vlog this week was really informative and very well organized. NICE work girl!! Loved the music.
Take care May until next week. Hey what about a detailed vlog on boat maintenance.

    Afternoon May
Bit late to the party, but What an great video, especially for anyone contemplating life afloat, maybe you should do a series of "intro to canal life" video's? I know there are a lot of similar ones out there, but (of the ones I've seen) they all paint a very rosey view of what it's like - you (IMHO) give a much more realistic view, but in a positive way if that makes sense!
I shall be tuning in for your TV debut - I'll have to watch on catch up as my aerial didn't survive the recent high winds and repair people want £75 just to turn up!
See you next time, and stay safe and happy.

Dear May I see you jump over Board and stop the Boat whit a Rope around your body. I did it that way whit my Boat. But if you put it in reverse for a few seconds and directly in Neutral the Boat stops by it selfs. Its much more easier and less heavy. Play whit it, Nothing can go wrong. And if you Lower your sPEed before you moore its even easier. Good luck. And still not buy a diesel heater.. It saves a lot of work whit your lumber.. But.. Your the Captain.
