For Solar Scout Rifle, I think there are better picks. Vision of Confluence with Rewind + Frenzy is really good, or the craftable Trustee with Recon/Rapid Hit + Incandescent along with its origin trait that gives ability energy back on hits. All other weapons are pretty good. 👍🏼
I'm not that fond of the Shoot to Loot perk, mostly because I forget that I have it when using a weapon with it and sometimes vice versa, so I usually go for Rapid Hit or Triple Tap over it when possible. Interesting to hear from other players for sure though! Your list matches mine for each weapon energy type on scout rifles, so I'm not super surprised by any of your picks. Will definitely check out your other videos on the subject matter!
According to D2foundry, explosive payload is actually only a 15% body shot damage buff and an 8.5% crit damage buff. Just saying, 30% would be a lot so i checked

Randys with tremors + gut shot is the best scout in the game. Extra 20% damage on the tremors proc + quick procs with the rapid frame + kinetic for another damage boost.
Good guide, but I am quite astonished by the lack of mention of Adaptive Munitions in Doom of Chelcherino and Staccato. The seasons with antibarrier Scout Adaptive turns these scouts almost as effective as wishender. It's an INSANE perk on Master+ content. Also, Brya's Love from S22 can roll with shoot to loot + explosive, outranking the Chelcherino the seasons we don't have antibarrier scouts. Adaptive Munitions and Shoot to Loot are A/S tier perks on endgame utility guns. This season we are taking a nerf on survivability and skill usage, utility guns are becoming way more relevant. @@bruhmoment8732its hlepful in pvp but on that archetype you dont really need it given how the base range is super high. Rapid fire scouts definitely suffer in range and you feel it

It splits damage in half and buffs one half by 30%
I have an old Hung Jury with Heating up and explosive payload. Its the only scout I use in PVE.

Transfiguration is prob the best and most slept on scout rifle in the game 100 range kinetic rewind rounds it’s a Infinite sniper prettt much
Why do you need range on a scout rifle? Stability/handling seem way better
