    I'm really interested in the chicken coop update. Like waiting for Christmas morning to open gifts when I was a kid lol. Great update video on the cab.

    Just watched your video again. Was linked to the Curtis cab. Your world famous now! I still want one. A year later and I haven't pulled the trigger.

    They need to put the windoin on heater side, yes heater blocks some of it but you still might be able to see somewhat

    I am glad that you mentioned how long it took to remove the stump. I have a few of that same size to remove and thought it was going to be an all day task. Now I know it's going to be a morning or afternoon task.
    Thank you for the cab update also. It's one of those purchases that I want to make, but still unsure. Have a good one Sir

    I agree with everything you said. I bought one with a Mauser cab. My first 1025r was a open station and I don’t miss it. The pros way outweigh the cons. Only slightly annoying thing is mowing under limbs and have to keep everything trimmed high. Other than that I love the shade and winter is awesome !

    I just purchased a subcompact with a Cab and I agree the pros will out weigh the cons. Great video with good information.

    I have been thinking about a cab since watching your install video. Thanks for the summer update, now I just have work up the confidence to install one myself. Also looking forward to more thoughts on your wheel spacers. Thanks

    I’m taking out exposed roots on a woods road. Between the reciprocating saw and the backhoe I’m getting it done. And I and still sad that contest not for 🇨🇦 🥲

    Hmmmm I may have to submit a requisition request to the finance committee. I am over budget for this year so I may have to wait until next year. Best to start working on it though. Thanks!

    I installed a cooling fan that is connected to the ROPS and plugged into the 12v outlet. Blows air on me either on the backhoe or loader operation. The fan oscillates if needed and has two speeds.

    I pull stumps like that with a come along and a pulaski axe, in about 5/10 minutes. I want the tractor, was at the dealer this morning, but haven’t come up with enough reasons to need it yet. My ATV plows snow much faster, so can’t use that..

    Hahahah! yeah my neighbors benefit from my investment too. LOL! Haven't pulled the trigger on a cab fro my 1025R but if I were to do that, it would likely be a Curtiss sinilar to yours. Granted I have a 2014 1025R so it would require a different cab. Not sure if the cab for my model would allow use of the back hoe. Gotta do more research. Great video as alwasy. Thansk for sharing!

    nice video... wonder if your backhoe had a thumb if it would have made getting it out quicker...

    Maybe a Baumalight 1p24 should be on your list of future attachments. 10 min that stump would have been gone. Thanks for the Video!

    • @carlstrohm3785
      @carlstrohm3785 Před 2 lety +1

      More money for a seldom used attachment, more space needed to store it, no stump to burn as camp fire wood, a stump grinder can't fill the hole back up, more fun to play with the tractor, and when you've paid nearly 6k for a backhoe, you should use it sometimes! At least that's why I use mine anyway 👍

    • @MRGreen79
      @MRGreen79 Před 2 lety

      When ya know how good it works, you would probably change your mind. Personal experience on it has proven its value. I still can't believe how effective the 1P24 grinder is on my 1025R.

    • @carlstrohm3785
      @carlstrohm3785 Před 2 lety +2

      @@MRGreen79 I have more time than money and I like spending time on the tractor. I've watched lots of videos and the stump grinders are great but.....all my other reasons.

    I keep wanting a cab like yours but sofar I just can't pull the trigger. I have dug out at least 15 stumps now and I must admit I am getting better with more practice. 1025r doesn't have any extra power but eventually I get her done! Amazing how long it takes to dig one out but how fast I can fill the hole back in.

    Looking to get a cab for my tractor also. Have a TBL so this looks like a good option thanks for the showing how well it works with the backhoe as that was a concern. Planning on taking out my first tree stump this weekend. Should be interesting for sure. Wonder if there is a way to use a power bank to run things inside the cab or would it be too crowded.

    Did the spacers make a difference? Do you use a mid mount mower? As I understand it they can cause the tires to interfere with the rear gauge wheels on the mower.

    When trailering, watch out for wind resistance on your cab's windshield to prevent any damage. Or can you remove just the windshield, like doors?
