@@creativityplace8291 yes its true,but if yu need bass controller then go for Chinese companies which according to yu can beat sonys higher model like sony bdv n 7200w and n 9200 w and Mhc v 90d.i think yu have to get a good looking home theater and heavy bass at low volume then go for Intex(which produce distortions at high volume like we can say baroari box in bengali)5.1 suf 14000 it star(100w rms subwoofer).and If yu have to buy a good home theater then go for logitech z 906 or sony bdv e 6100 or go for 5k and 6k like obage and some Intex or pankaj, Santosh like stuffs for your satisfaction.

No it does not come with fm option al though yu can get a 5.0 version Bluetooth connectivity.but yu can get f.m(frequency modulation by an antenna which receives and self modulates the frequency of the carrier wave)in sony dav dz 350 or more lower budget at ht rt 3 and ht rt 40 and for more budget at sony 5.1 bdv n 7200 w of 1200w rms.

sir i bought this. i must say i am impressed with the bass but sir my satellite speakers are producing low sound . the woofer is dominating at higher and low volumes.and at low volumes my speakers are not even audible only bass is working. sir at which volume level you had tested the speakers ?? please tell me sir
Volume level was around 75-80%.
Bass dominates a little in these speakers but sound clarity is also there. You can try a few things :
Don't keep the woofer on the floor because it increases the bass effect.Check if all the satellite speakers are connected and working properly.
If the issue still persists you can get the speakers replaced because audio clarity is very good in these and you should not have this issue.

You can keep the 4 speakers of d40 at a distance to get a bit of surround sound effects..other than that there is not much difference between the two except loudness.
Many videos i watched for sony d40 in you tube. I thnk they all are selling the product in youtube. but not one has mentioned it has no surround sound that i am looking for so first thank you so much for this information. And one request will you suggest me good surround sound home theatre below 10 k.

I have gone through 2 speakers, F&D3800X and Sony D40, but I am confused now for whom to go. Actually I want a crystal clear sound at high pitch and good bass and is there any difference comes in the 4.1 and 5.1 sound. Please suggest for which one to go.

When it comes to sound clarity, sony always wins against f&d.
4.1 doesn't have surround sound effects..audio is basically 2 channel only, most of 5.1 does have surround sound effects.
Bass - d40 by a high margin
Treble - both good
Clarity - d40
surround sound - 3800x
I strongly suggest D40 as it is just outstanding in terms of audio clarity and strong bass but do remember there is no surround sound while 3800x does.

Go for Sony always if you love crisp and clear sound, bass is not everything when you listen music. I have sony sa d40 and I am fully satisfied with this.

Yes. Bass is just awesome. Everything shakes at higher volume.

Not heart thumping for that you need at least 1000 watt
