Good couple of videos Dustin. Those DR's are fun bikes. I never even thought about that about the big drop tanks needing carb mods and trust me in 30 years of working on bike I have done worse than kinking a fuel line by wanting to go just that little extra, lol. Those big flat slides are great carbs and better than the stock ones imho. Once you get it tuned in, it should be a great upgrade.
    Best!

Thanks Eddie. It is definitely a new animal with this carb on it.

You could turn that lip down on your lathe as well if you wanted

Yeah, I didn't really want to chuck the whole carb in the lathe. A few minutes with a file and it was all good.

Do a video about the bandsaw I just bought one and need to make a table for it and another mount to make it actuate on an arm to cut tubing.

There's a link in the top corner around the 4:12 mark

Thanks for the rare tm40 content... those three black lines coming off the carb ... one of them is leaking gas when my petcock is on run (I swapped vacuum petcock for manual on/off) Are one of these lines suppose to leak gas? And are all three suppose to hang down freely?

The two lines that attach higher on the carb are just vents for the float bowl. The one off the bottom is an overflow drain tube. If it’s leaking out of that lower tube, you either have the float height set too high, or the float valve isn’t sealing and is allowing fuel to continue to enter the float bowl which overflows through that tube.

Where can you buy the adapter for engine side intake? Links?

I’ve seen kits on eBay and I think they’re available to buy from Australia, but I don’t have any links. I made mine on a lathe. I actually have two more sets. I’d sell them for a reasonable offer. They’re just sitting in my toolbox.
