'As Surely As I Stand Here' on the band's '40th Anniversary' DVD is absolutely sensational. To see the then-current band augmented with past members is like watching a testament to the life of all those great players...what they enjoyed and endured over the decades since first pursuing music. I've watched it dozens of times and it still brings tears to my eyes...especially knowing that since then two of the players, Skip Mesquite and Mic Gillette, are no longer of this world. Tower of Power didn't think Larry fit the Band after he was singing and traveling with them for around 13 years......Larry was later asked to come sing with The Temptations and I don't see him singing with the Temptations......Tower of Power should just ask Larry to come back......

AKA "Mad Dad" TOP remains Mad Dad's favorite band ever, but not a big fan of Larry Bragg. Rick Stevens, Lenny Williams were the bands top vocalists. You can maybe add Brent Carter and Tom Bowes to the mix also. (Just an opinion).
