Welcome to flosstube! Absolutely loved your video and all your projects! I can’t believe you’ve only been stitching 2 years. Can’t wait to see more! 🥰🖤
Thank you so much! Everyone's been so kind- will absolutely be doing more 💜
great first video, congrats on your video😊
I loved your first floss tube. I look forward to seeing more.
Thank you so much for taking the time! 💜
Yay! So glad you started a flosstube! ❤🎉
Haha thank you! ♥️ It was not without heavily working myself up to it
The first video is the hardest, but you did great! Can't wait for the next one! 😍
Provocative Girl is BEYOND amazing.
Thank you so much! She's my favorite. I can't wait to finish it. Such an easy (though long) stitch 💜
Nice to have you here. I am in Upstate.NY as well. Have been stitching for 35 years. My daughter is a nurse as well. Looking forward to more
35 years is incredible! I'm sure you've got quite a number of beautiful projects under your belt! Thank you for taking the time to watch ♥️
Welcome to flosstube Community !!! Awesome WIPs ! 🎉🎉🎉 puppies are soooooo adorable 🥰 looking forward for your future videos ! You can add felt to the back of the pattern and sew it to a jacket 🧥 I’ve seen people do that !
Thank you! 💜 I'll have to do something! I don't want it just sitting in my house haha everyone needs to see her!
This was so great! Bravo to you for taking the plunge 👏 Loved seeing all your projects - some really beautiful things 😍
Thank you so much! Nerve racking for sure but glad I did. Thank you for checking it out! ♥️
Hi there! You have some really beautiful wips! Looking forward to your next video! Happy stitching ♥️
♥️thank you so much!
Great first video! Looking forward to seeing more! ❤
Thanks for watching! 💜
If that linen isn’t serving you for Vanity Sampler, totally restart it on some aida! Your stitches look great 🥰 So happy you made a flosstube, I think I was subscriber #2 🎉
♥️thank you! I probably will. The deeper I get into it the more I realize I can't count. Thanks for watching 🫣
you did amazing and i cannot wait to follow along on your journey 💖✨
Thank you!💜 It wasn't any less awkward than I thought 🤣
Welcome to Flosstube, I loved seeing all your projects!! My ears perked up when you said upstate NY, I’m originally from Rochester, but I live down in Lexington, KY now. I loved the Buick piece. My dad is a big Buick Riviera fan, and we actually just went to a Riviera car show this weekend here in Lex. I’m hoping to make/find a Riviera-related pattern that I can stitch for him.
I'm about 2 hours east of Rochester. I was just in the area two weekends ago for a concert though! My partner has a Buick Skylark!- I'll be VERY happy when the Buick piece is done. It's an easy stitch but the huge swatches of color is just so monotonous. 😅
Well done on your first Flosstube 🎉 Just loved seeing all of your projects and of course your hype crew in the background 🐶🫶🏻
Haha they weren't very hyped up, they prefer to use my bags as pillows 🥹💜thank you for watching!
@@kateys_crossstitch We shall call them the ‘Emotional Support Crew’ instead 🤣🤣🤣 My boy loves lying all over my cross stitch stuff too 😅
@@bronwynmalone8531 haha they're very good with the support. They are used to laying around listening to me talk to myself for work all day so this was nothing for them.
Don't give up on the Christmas village sampler. It is really pretty and on beautiful fabric. I have a project I recently began working on again after 10 years in the corner. Through moving I had lost the pattern and threads. After I found the pattern again I had to go through to find out where I was so I could continue .
I love the pattern! It's just frustrating wanting to pull it out and work on it and having to make head and tails of past Kaitlin 🤣 I'll definitely give it another go this season.
So glad you joined Flosstube! I would like to say that it gets less scary to film and post videos, but I’m definitely not there yet. 😂
Thank you! 💜 And you do an incredible job at hiding it I assure you!
Great projects! And sleepy puppies in every video please
Aww thank you! 💜 And they probably will be. They just paw at the door when I love them out 🤣
1:39 my first impression…you like the number 2. Two kids, two cats, two dogs, stitching for two years 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Came over from an Instagram recommendation. Great first video! I also had to go back and pause on the bag because I thought it was Christmas too 😂
Thank you taking the time! I had that bag for almost a year before my girlfriend pointed out it was Little Red Ridinghood! Thankfully she bought me the Christmas bag so it was a good exchange 🤣
Welcome to the community! Love your projects! Margins, pft! You should see some of mine!! Lol x
Ha that's a future Kaitlin problem. I'm just going to keep plugging away! And thank you 🥰
I often start with a hoop start and then switch to pulling the thread under other stitches and then continuing that way(hope that made sense...lol...sorry)
It did! I found someone who showed how to do a loop start with one thread and it opened up a whole new door! 😂
