Really good video! Lots of really terrific combos for Crystal Beasts - even made me rethink a few cards I wasn't using in my own crystal beast deck. I especially am considering adding Cherubini to my ED - that's genius. I want to quickly point out one small mistake - at 13:47 and 20:18 you can't actually summon Ultimate Crystal Rainbow Dragon Overdrive (Rainbow Dragon and Rainbow Overdragon, you can absolutely summon, though).
The reason for this is a minor wording difference on the cards. Rainbow Dragon requires 7 Crystal Beast "cards" to be present on the field or in the graveyard to special summon from hand - and Overdragon requires you tribute an Ultimate Crystal Beast (such as Rainbow Dragon). Ultimate Crystal Rainbow Dragon Overdrive, however, specifies that you need to banish 7 Crystal Beast "monsters" from field and/or graveyard. Crystal Beast cards in the spell and trap zones are considered "continuous spells", which meets the qualification of "card" that Rainbow Dragon calls for, but to bring out Ultimate Crystal Rainbow Dragon Overdrive, you have to either get them in the monster zones or the graveyard for them to be considered monsters again.

But it didnt say above monsters from your “monster field”, is it really prohibited if it is in Spell/Trap Card Zone?
@@bolakubus It is. I didn't realize this when I first started playing CB, but the Crystal Beast monsters themselves specify they are considered "Continuous Spell Cards" when they're in the spell/trap zones, which is why the wording of "card" vs "monster" makes a difference. It's the little things lol
@@nickmitchell7778 heyyy, but are you sure of that? If you read the summons conditions of rainbow overdrive for example, it says that must be FUSION summoned whit 7 "crystal beast" MONSTERS, or SPECIAL summoned through rainbow dragon.
So...my question is...if this monster can be FUSION summoned and the monster field has only 5 slots...and as you say the CB while in the spell & trap field DO NOT count as monsters, how do you FUSION summon it?
Even because if you do not FUSION SUMMON it will be impossible to activate it's quick effect that says:
"You can Tribute this FUSION SUMMONED card; shuffle all cards on the field into the deck".
...I could be wrong just want to be sure cause I am starting to playing it 😭

Fusion Summoning (usually) requires the use of a card effect (such as Polymerization) to get the Fusion Summon going. These cards almost always let you use material from multiple locations (such as hand, deck, or even graveyard) to use as material, so you don't usually have to have all the monsters you need on the field.
And you are correct - if you Special Summon Rainbow Overdragon, you cannot use its Quick Effect (though you can still use the other effect). This makes Rainbow Overdragon the perfect (and only) target for Ultimate Crystal Magic (a trap card that comes in the Crystal Beast structure deck).
When a Crystal Beast is destroyed by battle, Ultimate Crystal Magic lets you Fusion Summon an Ultimate Crystal monster by sending 7 Crystal Beast "cards" (this counts the back row!) from hand, deck, and/or field to the graveyard. Ultimate Crystal Magic can be searched by Rainbow Bridge, Rainbow Bridge of the Heart, AND Crystal Master - making it pretty easy to use most of the time.
You can't use Ultimate Crystal Magic to Fusion Summon Ultimate Crystal Rainbow Dragon Overdrive, because it requires being Special Summoned under very specific conditions, BUT getting Rainbow Overdragon on the field and 7 Crystal Beasts in the graveyard sets you up to Special Summon Ultimate Crystal Rainbow Dragon Overdrive pretty easily if you're going for that.

I really like the artwork of CB. Was always 50/50 on getting it cause I read that it wasn't that good. Everytime I walk by the tcg aisle at Walmart it's like it keeps calling my name. Your video pushed me to actually get the 3x structure decks. Looking forward to dueling with it!

Just remember that the crystal beasts in the S/T zone aren't considered monsters, you can't banish them for Rainbow Dragon Overdrive!
But it's not that difficult to get more crystal beasts out, and you don’t need to banish 7 different crystal beasts to bring it out 😊
Crystal Beasts I use to scoff at until I watched the show, and then I saw the plethora of cards they have and now I think they’re great.
Crystal Beasts would have been sooo strong when they came out if Ruby had her anime effect

Fantastic video bro, you hit the spot with this one. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I’m gonna destroy my neighbour and send that mf to the shadow realm. The extra deck rainbow dragon plays are fantastic. I think I might have to rebuild my structure deck now. Maybe take out rare value and put beacon or rainbow ruins in. Keeping this at 40 cards has been difficult.
1) when rainbow bridge destroys a card (cb) in your hand, does that card go to the grave or spell and trap zone?
2) rainbow dragon says 7 different Crystal beasts is it legal to just send 6 different cbs and one zenith (I don’t play amethyst cat) or is this a misplay?

2) Absolutely legal! One of the BEST things about Zenith is that it is a Crystal Beast even the Crystal Beast Token summoned with Aegis counts! (Also, side note, Rainbow Dragon doesn't require the CBs to be sent, just to exist)

Anything summoned with cb rainbow dragon will have is effects negated so you won't be able to use the gain 400 attack of tiger and they won't go to the spell/trap card zones

If you end on both fusion monsters thats 15000 attack points total because of Ultimat Crystal Rainbow Dragon Overdrive's effect.

@Senkara I haven't been able to do any of these combos because I haven't been able to get all of the pieces in my hand at the same time. But I've been able to use parts of them. And have managed to get Rainbow dragon out with Ultimate Crystal Magic getting my Crystal Beasts to the graveyard.
@theanystrom2882 huh weird, I normally don't have much issue but as long as you've got set up with Magic that's all you need

But how are the combos possible for a single deck if you summon 3 rainbow dragons
For the combo that summons 3 Crystal Beast Rainbow Dragons, it's best to have 3, however you can substitute the 2nd and third for any other Crystal Beast if you only have one
Even with these combos this deck is really hard to use. The combos are hard to do because you very rarely have everything you need for them. I love crystal beasts because they were cool in the show. But even with your deck profile and these combos the deck is damn near impossible to play.
I wouldn't say near impossible, I find myself frequently pulling off these combos
But there are alot of dead hands too, ideally you would add extra cards from outside the structure deck to make it more consistent
An extra deck using Saryuja skulldread helps consistency.

@michaeltrinh4394 I've never heard of that card. I try to stick to in archetype cards if I can for all my decks because I am an extremely casual player that is just trying to learn the game better.

Believe it or not, i fell in love with this deck _because_ it's hard to use, and I prefer to use the crystal fusions above meta extra deck cards 😂
