Follows the last video on compounding growth. Though things work slightly different here in the states, these principles certainly apply. Take advantage of any employer matching program and, yes, salary sacrifice is the way to go. Thanks again for another informative video.

Am I right in thinking that a lower top line would mean more tax credits?

Great video - thanks. I'm am trying to replicate the spreadsheet shown at 5:11 to validate my understanding. I know tax and NIC can vary from person to person, but your figures seem to be approximations - is this right?

Hi, I'm looking to do the salary sacrifice, but I am also looking to apply for a mortgage in the next 6 months. With that in mind would you recommend getting the mortgage first, and then applying for a salary sacrifice?

If one is already in receipt of an occupational pension from a previous employer I took early retirement from.
I have secured a new job after coming out of retirement
can one still do the salary sacrifice because was Auto enrolled in the new company pension scheme. Still under 75 years old. Is the limit still 40k per year by hmrc rules.

Tim, Unsure but i seam to remember reading in 2017 that the UK government had stop(or were stopping) companies from topping up the £583.3 from their Employer National Insurance! Do you know when it will happen?

Not heard anything specific on that recently - employer still has discretion around e'ers NI. Guessing the gov't has its hands full elsewhere for now...
