  • Gotta Luv It when you are down to $1 in the slot machine and then hit a bonus round. 1 line pay and 8 Bonus rounds later I went home with a $1,300 jackpot plus $2,000 in tax-free winnings for a total of $3,300 ...all on the same machine. None too shabby.

    Nice! I played at Shoalwater Casino this past week. Tightest TFDU ever. I put 800 bucks into it before hitting a piddly bonus. They have the Class III bingo slots with horrible payouts. Can't wait to get back to Mill Bay!

      Where is Shoalwater?

      The dragons were tight at 12 Tribes Casino Lake Chelan last night too. Everyone was complaining. I saw 2 TFDU jackpot payouts and they were both to the same player. 🥴

    The TFD rising has been good to me lately. I love the shakey shakey bonuses.

      They haven’t given me a shake for so long. 😂 I suppose I need to spend more time trying the Rising.

      Someone got a good bonus at 12 Tribes Casino Lake Chelan on the Rising Sat. night. They had a big audience but I never had a chance to see what they ended up with.

    You got to hit the button

      Thank you for your feedback. I'm not particularly eager to rush through the bonus rounds by hitting the button when I get a line pay. The bonus round is the part that I enjoy the most. Thank you for watching and feel free to power through.

      @@CowgirlDragonSlayerMe too! If you don’t listen to the music and watch the fireworks what’s the point?

      @DuckyB, Once in a while I will hit the button, but most of the time I like the fireworks. I always keep my machine on the lowest sound setting that there is because I do find that the loudest setting hurts my ears and blows out my video.

    It's not tax free if it's over $1200. You have to pay tax on that. You can deduct your losses but only up to the amount of your wins and you MUST track ALL of your wins and losses, yes ALL of them, every single time you gamble, without fail, in order to deduct your losses. You can't do it after the fact, either. Has to be tracked in a log, as it happens, not the next day or whatever. If you aren't tracking, you cannot deduct your losses, and so you must pay tax on all jackpots over $1200, or owe taxes at the end of the year. Technically, if you have a winning year, any time you have a winning session where you go home with more than you came with you must pay taxes on ALL winnings, not just jackpots.

      I have been told differently. However, I now need an accountant who is familiar with gambling reporting.

      @@CowgirlDragonSlayeryes you absolutely do. If you get audited after deducting losses and don't have a log with ALL of your wins and losses, you'll be toast. And if you win too many jackpots without paying any taxes over the year, you'll pay a penalty at tax time for not giving the IRS enough money over the course of the year. Doesn't matter if you pay it all at the end.

      @@danielhandler6646 Do you keep a log? and if so, how do you do it? On another note, at the end of the year does the Win/Loss statement not count for anything?

    • @danielhandler6646
      @danielhandler6646 Před 17 dny +1

      @@CowgirlDragonSlayeryes I have kept a log, but I don't gamble anymore. The win-loss statement at year end does not meet the legal requirement to keep a log. It is only corroborating evidence if there are questions about your log. It's not standalone primary evidence in case of an audit. Highly recommend you talk with your tax advisor and use their information, not mine. I am not a tax professional or an attorney and my advice is not to be relied upon for legal matters.

      I wonder if all of my videos would count as a log?
