Those jumps and flips remind me so much of Speed Racer that it feels like it was straight up ripped from the game and movie! I've been longing that kind of chaotic, fun racing. I'll definitely check it out!
I don't know why I get more Rocket League/Racing vibes more but I haven't played Speed Racer soooo...
Hopefully we get a much more "raw" gameplay footage sooner than later. I'd love to see the HUD, breakdown of the mechanics, how the physics seem to play out etc. A big pet peeve of mine is how racing games tend to have no proper catch up mechanic, causing the slightest bump to be race ending (assuming the AI doesn't cheat to let you win, as is the case with majority of off-line racing games we remember so fondly).

It's been a long time
Giving me the exact energy I want out of a modern racing game that seems to be absolutely nowhere now. The cool spin-takedowns remind me a lot of the modern Asphalt games in a way that is SO fun looking.
Please include elements from midnight club 2 - fishtailing to get extra speed and being able to weight adjust mid air, and being able to go on two wheels

The gameplay reminds me of how asphalt games felt.

This does look pretty nice. Not sure about the overly disjointed look of some cars, but it does seem like it could be a fun game.

Looks cool, the visual style is great and hopefully the driving is fun. I gotta say though, the sound mixing on those voicelines is a bit rough on the highs. At least slap a de-esser on them.
It's rare that a racing game grabs my interest, but this makes me think of Hydro Thunder plus a good amount of Rocket League (which I play daily) due to to the flips. So, yeah, interest grabbed.

i really hope there's a way to zoom out the camera a fair bit, because the car here is way too close and the camera is a bit too low to the ground for my taste.

Characters looks off, works looks empty, gameplay looks sick tho apart from some sence where you almost dont see THE road due zooming in, looking forward to THE game tho
Isn't the main character a woman? Even the character's model doesn't seem to have changed

@@McVee That is, the entire game will be voiced by a man and a woman as the main character?
@@AnotherSettlement4 I assume there will be separate models for Male and Female, they probably just used the default woman model for this trailer, and maybe the female voice lines weren't ready in time so they had to use the male ones? Feels odd, but for a game still in development, I wouldn't be surprised.
