- Gregg Allman, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, and Oteil Burbridge share the stage with guitarist Scott Sharrard from Gregg's band. This clip isn't highly upscaled, but the quality was improved.
Gregg Allman, Butch Trucks, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Oteil Burbridge, Jaimoe, and Marc Quiñones .
Here's the mp3 of my 2013 interview with Scott:

5 k views and 7 comments for this? This is a brilliant performance, by three immensely talented guitarists whose styles and gracious ness complement each other so well, with Gregg’s vocals, Otell’s bass, the drums … how in the world do people listen to canned pseudo music in the millions and ignore this? Looking for the keys where the light is, not in the alley where you lost them, because the light is better there.
We're on the same wavelength, and this video is actually doing considerably better than several others equally as good. That's our world🍑🍄🍑
warren is also bad ass! Love his slide shit!
Love this version
Thanks Paul!
This tempo is slightly more human than the stratospheric cut from the '71 Album Live at Fillmore East. It gives Sharrard more room to get from point A to point B - and what a ride it is....,all the guitar solos are amazing. Listen to Brother Duane's solo again...,it is simply spectacular...,seriously, beatific...,
Well said!!!
Szz0 OK😊😊
Same tempo
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Theres a reason Scott Sherrod lasted as Greggs music director of his solo band..Check out Scott in Little Feat.🍑
I need to check that out! BTW, I've got a clip of Scott and Derek solos on Dreams with the Gregg Allman Band in Germany. Both play amazing solos, Scott is smokin' hot.

The Brothers' version of this song is always stellar. Duane's first solo on the Fillmore's version is molten lava.
Totally agree, and there are a couple of awesome bootleg version from Duane.
Great description. One of the greatest solos ever. This version has some real intensity and love, too.
