As someone whose cases have gone missing waaaay too many times, my biggest packing tip is pack everything you'd need for the first 3 or 4 days + all valuables in your hand luggage.
You probs already know this, but packing tip that has saved my life for the last five years is packing small things like swimwear and bodysuits into my purses. Not only do you save space, but it also helps keep the structure of your bags! Then just having some kind of zipped bag for the return trip since the clothes will be dirty!
I so understand how you feel about tripping by yourself. You can do it. I believe in you. Love you and everything u do. Keep up great work. Plus have a safe trip and lot's if fun as well.
