  • This video is an audio recording of a sermon by Madzibaba Demstage. He starts by pointing out that blessings cannot be received if our hearts are not open. We have an agreement with the Holy Spirit and a verse stating this is sung. The preacher then speaks of spiritual hygiene where we are supposed to close our prayer verses with an Amen. All our other processes and prayer rituals should be in accordance with the right way.
Our ancestors would sow their crop using methods and processes which would ensure a good harvest. The Holy Spirit will at times teach the elders while at other times it will teach the prophets. The Holy Spirit is the farmer. Therefore, all those being taught should be like the grazer who chews the cud and take time to think reflectively. Thus, during our days in prayer, we should be able discern what is nutritious to our souls and what is not. The verse 'vanenhaka yemuteuro...' is telling us that those destined for salvation are not difficult for the Holy Spirit because they always answer the call of the Word of God when the call is made.
Being able to see Heaven starts in our places of worship. The true way reflects the actual place which we are yearning to go to. Even visitors to the church testify through verse that the faithful will always meet in the city of Abraham. The preacher pays attention to the fact that it does not mean that we are holy to meet in the city of Abraham but that the gathered have been doused with Holy Words filled with a preacher's anointing. When we are preached to, we must repent. The preacher says that talking about the city of Abraham always conjures up the Words of the Holy Spirit. Well, the Holy Spirit is asking of what we have harvested during our church attendance. In Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob we are speaking of tribes. Thus, in speaking of Father Johane we are speaking of a tribe. That is why the Holy Spirit invited the young and the old to come and revel in the magnanimity of our Father Johane. The verse 'Taunganira Yeso... is telling us that we have gathered for our saviour Christ who was crucified. Heaven is always pleased when people gather to worship the Almighty. The verse 'Baba tumainjiva sekunaNoah...' concludes that sermon and the verse is a prayer asking God to send a dove to us like he did for Noah.
