Of course they’re using the better and original scooby doo stuff and not the “reimagined” modern themes, because they actually want to make money. Good on them!

Hey Cary! Frank Welker is a voice acting legend. He played Fred from day one of Scooby-Doo in 1969. Don Messick (another voice acting legend) was the original voice of Scooby-Doo. I was lucky enough to meet Don in London in 1995. I was brought in to perform Scooby-Doo for Cartoon Network UK & UK TV from 1998. I’m a huge fan of Frank Welker. It should be Frank in this game! (Vintage samples of Don Messick are always a treat!)

OMG! I am super excited about this. I am a huge Scooby fan. I am in the midst of a Scooby-Doo themed vpin project at the moment. I grew up on it and have my kids watching now. In the early 90s I had a univ student web page that crashed the whole school's internet with a java app I wrote that was a Scooby Doo coloring book. At it's height people using it accounted for 98% of all the traffic coming in and going out of the univ backbone :)
Now, just hope I can get in on the preorder!
Props to Spooky on a top IP. Also good on spooky in securing top talent for the voices and using the OG IP. Not a big Scooby fan but can't wait to see it. This hobby needs Spooky to do well.

As an owner, really hoping Scooby is better design wise compared to Halloween. Rick and Morty felt really clear and simple in a good way that keeps my family coming back while the others tend to just sit.
Scooby CE headed to JD’s Command Center, will be placing it next to Jetson’s and Halloween.
A Scooby Doo theme, based on the original show, AND with all-star voice actors? Is Spooky pinball redeeming themselves now?
Hopefully they can knock this out of the park.. they seem to be headed in the right direction by using original content and the voice actors they are using! .. can't wait to see what they do with it

Pretty exciting theme. Thanks for sharing who the voice actors are, other then Matthew Lillard, had no clue who the others were. Hopefully they make a reliable machine. Every Spooky pin we had on location had nothing but problems. Looks like they are heading in the right direction.
I am a huge Scooby doo fan watched every single series and am so excited of their choice of voice actors. No better people to pick as these are the people that primarily do the voice acting on all
of the shows. Will definitely be buying it just hope it’s a fun game! 😊

Nothing against Marc Silk, but the voice cast on this game is *bonkers* for a Spooky game.
no doubt. Frank Welker alone is maybe the single most famous voice actor of all time, AND the original on the original series. This is just absurd! Also, snagging Lillard as well.
Another theme with amplitude for a lot of creativity. Can’t disagree with anything you said, let’s wait and see the all package, gonna reserve judgment until then. 👍
Cary, thank you for digging up the background of these Voice actors as I couldn't remember lol Can't wait for your further takes as more info comes out. As this is definitely one I didn't see on the horizon, but looking forward to it now. The big question I have for you is the Theme alone big enough for you to pull the trigger and pre order when the time comes or will it ultimately come down to shots and code or does this not interest you to buy at all?
Theme alone will never sell me on a game. I need to see it first. And preferably play it first.

He's the best one because he's not like bought out or has a specific gain. Just says it how it is, and in a world where modern stern exists, that's really rare.

The clues were there for Scooby-Doo so I wasn't surprised. I was hoping for Futurama or another adult cartoon.
Cary… all I am hearing are issues with Spooky with there last two titles alone .. hopefully they will fix this stuff… and it will not be a Jetsons
Wow I was really amazed how you didn’t know these actors . These guys have been voicing Scooby doo characters for so long I just thought everyone knew them .
I think the majority of content consumers don't know voice actors. Especially since they never really get to see them.
I liked Scooby-Doo but like Cary said no idea who the voice actors are. Most people probably don't. Your just smart.

I only know a few voice actors and Frank Welker is one of them. Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime), Mel Blanc (Looney Tunes) are a couple everyone should know.

As excited as I am about this theme I’m super disappointed that spooky is the one to make it! They are a good company but their games are just poorly engineered.
So how is Spooky as a company quality wise? I’m fair new to the hobby and don’t know much about them.

Yeah there Halloween and ultra man IP’s are mixed about the shots and code. Hopefully this brings them to the spotlight though. Competition is better for all of us, with more pinball company’s out.
My Halloween CE and TNA 2.0 have been nothing but rock solid. And their customer service is second to none.

@@CaryHardy ah okay thanks. Looking to get my second pin (first was star wars pro a week ago) TMNT was available but I don’t think getting another fast punishingly hard game like TMNT on top of the star wars is the right move. Considering CCr

Too bad it's a Spooky...Not confident in their engineering and quality control. and usually over priced for what you get...
But it's spooky. And they're using low quality boards, mpus, pla printed parts, low end rc car parts, no set schedule for updates or milestones and a history of aborted games after launch. I want to believe but I've been burned. Not a good game on location by history.
This theme is an easy pass for me, never cared for Scooby Doo. That's 10k saved for the next run of MMr.
Voices mostly seem ok... Massive fail on Scooby tho.
