Where did you make this? a DAW? Recording? or live?
I also like piano music :)
A mix of DAW and recording - I recorded segments with a MIDI keyboard and then snapped them into place to match the bpm. Doing this live would have yielded worse results and taken much more time, and just clicking in notes like you would do in synthesia is painful to do and sounds robotic
@@OpticIlluzhion What DAW do you use? I use LMMS. If you don't know it, it's a free and open-source DAW. But some features are still missing, like having a count-in or how is it called. It is like FL Studio, but I think it has a bigger learning curve than FL Studio. I don't know though. I've used it for a few years now, so yeah.
I use FL Studio. I highly recommend it solely since there's some great tutorials for it (and because some of my favorite producers use it). I've used LMMS once. Never again lol
@@OpticIlluzhion Yeah... *lol* I don't want to move to FL Studio, because I've been learning LMMS for years now and I also like using soundfonts (In FL Studio, the soundfonts need to be 32 bit or 64 bit. I don't understand it too much, but LMMS can accept 32 *and* 64 bit) I also tried formatting the text a little, so if you see asterisks around 2 words, you'll know why.

I wonder if it’s even possible for even some of the parts to be done in sheet music (in the gd level not full song), cause I’m guessing you used some kind of software, anyways sounds amazing, better than the original
you're guessing correctly! Mind you all of these covers were done back when I wasn't using an actually good sounding piano vst nor a sustain pedal, if you want to hear what I can do now I recommend listening to my track Fairy Tale, so I do feel like even though many people like this version I could absolutely improve on it. Glad you enjoyed :)

I think the shortest answer I can give is that I used a combination of my prior 7 years of piano knowledge and year of music production knowledge + perfect pitch to transcribe the individual elements of the song. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to tell you what the notes are without either making this comment painfully long or sending you a MIDI file which tells you the notes but which leaves you with no information about how I transcribed it. You kind of have to put the work in yourself in that sense and learn how to transcribe
