Since you get 10 custom tunes, does this device also allow you to tune a few different vehicles, without having to buy another device or more alloted tunes?
@Vencedor Uberstar Unfortunately, the tuner mates to the vehicle ECU and if you intend to use the tune multiple vehicles it can only hold one OEM backup at a time, so you'd want to re-flash whatever vehicle back to stock before unmating from each ecu.

Hey, yes SCT makes an X4 for Chevy applications. It does not yet work with the 2020 C8 Corvette, but definitely works with the 14 Corvette. I have a 2015 ram Can I use it for a tune for cat delete also do I need unlocked pcm?
Hey CJ, The SCT X4 will not be the right device for tuning your Ram, but the same company makes the "Bully Dog BDX" part 40470, which does tune the 2015 Ram 1500. And, yes, the PCM does need to be unlocked. It can tune the ram though long as it has the 8 speed it says all models don’t know if trans is included but far as website says on American trucks it can tune your ram 1500 needs to be 5.7 but will need pcm unlocked

Hey I just got mine today. Consider me a noob. I updated my tuner and programmed my 02 mustang gt. All I changed was 87 octane. That is it. I was excited to change my CAI. I have the air raid big 300$ waste of money intake. I didn’t even see an option for it!!! Anyway, I’m looking for a tuner to work with me now. Any recommendations? Light mods right now
Get a custom tune from most speed shop he can email it to you after you send the data logging he quoted me 170$ for 93 octane race tune for my 2010 grand marquis

What preloaded tunes does this device come with?
For mustang 5.0 a 87 91 and 93 octane and you can adjust for basics like intakes throttle body's other small mods also rev limiter top speed shift points firmness timing spark etc etc
While you typically use this to data log gages and to program your car with professional custom tunes.
The 91 octane tune on my 5.0 to my shock woke my car up BIG time while I wait on bama to email my tune to the cloud
So will this allow this to adjust the injectors and maf for a 302? Or, is that for only a custom tune

@@19jody72 ah, no sir, adjustments are made through tuning software and then the ECU must be reflashed with the x4.

can i use this on multiple cars? or are they married to one car only? I need one to reprogram EGR delete and change some stuff on truck, but want to be able to use it on other cars as well
These are designed and work with one device per vehicle. All manufacturers of devices like these take the same approach.

@@rorymerke6659 Tuners mate to a single ECU, 1 vehicle at a time. Once mated to an ECU, it cannot be mated to aniother ECU unless the original is returned to stock.

Anything to do with air, fuel or exhaust

Yes! This works on up to the 2021 models.

You need a tuner because the sociopaths in engineering took away distributors and the fuel/air adjustments so no one can mess with the vital stuff unless they have the right tools.
