In the last year I switched from E6000 to 2-part epoxy for affixing clasps to braids. I find they hold much better and I too like that they fill the gaps. I only use E-6000 for the rare times I use the wired method.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ve been using a small tube of the E6000. It was a month or so after I used it the first time, when I went to use it again, that I found the glue had kind of dried in the tube and came out in globs that wouldn’t spread. I had to throw it away. I have several more small tubes that came with kits and a large tube I bought, but I’m kind of nervous about using them if they’re only going to be good for one use each, especially the big tube. That could get quite expensive.

I am asked about glue more times than I could possibly count, so here is my full answer! These are my personal recommendations, but glue is a matter of personal preference, so if you have a favourite I have not mentioned please tell us about it here in the comments.

Hello Hugo, if you put the words "rapid epoxy adhesive" into any internet search browser, you will find many links. Or look in your local hardware shop. I hope this helps.
