Ca Lem .... I truly admire your skills. Not many machinists (or any others for that matter) have your persistence and abilities. Thank you for this wonderful presentation. I am proud to be one of your viewers.
Next it's CAD and CAM licensing, flood coolant and air assist, automatic tool changer, etc.! It looks like you have a fine machine that you've done an exceptional job restoring and putting together. I must say, it's very impressive! Thank you for sharing your exceptional work!
My soul left my body momentarily when you plunge cut using an end mill directly into your table, but don't worry, I'm still subscribed and have notifications on.
Ca lem gentleman your milling machine was spectacular I congratulate you, hopefully you continue making more videos with the milling machine, greetings from Colombia
Awesome as usual Ca Lem! A tip for stripe painting; after masking, paint over the tape with the base colour first, then do the 2nd colour, bleed will be of the base colour only. Cheers
There will always be something to fix... There will always be many things to learn... But that is another fantastic success! 👍 Thank's for another great video.
Hi Calem. If you do a spindle rebuild again, please take us through your process by making a video about it. I know there are other content makers that has done it. But it will be interesting to see how you do it.
Very nice job! Glad to see you posting and engaging in this sort of work after the explanation video you posted a while ago, regarding your situation and the rest of your concerns... Your work always pleases me and is highly inspiring... Those scraped surfaces worked with stones give off the Robin Renz flashbacks, when he showed that moore crescent scraping of lab grade, sure, he is a benchmark, a standard setter and a goal keeper with his quality of work, but i can see the quality and effort akin to his, that went into those scraped surfaces... You have my highest regards and commendation - dear friend! All the best, Steuss
You are Sir: utterly amazing! For any other CZcamsr this would have been a 10-15 part, 45 min. each series of posts, 3 alone for the sheet metal work! But somehow you still get so much important detail into 19.19 minutes. You are a Master.
Calem you sir are a genius from what you started with , and what this mill has turned into is an outstanding achievement. I certainly will be looking forward to your future videos with this machine
Хороший фрезер. Поздравляю с приобретением. У тебя как всегда всё на высоте, всё с точностью до миллиметра. Очень интересно смотреть твои видео. 👍 Будь здоров и удачи тебе.
I met you restoring your first black and gold lathe. now you are at your first CNC machine, all this by yourself. you are the number one. greetings from your fun, max
Opening with your mistakes is brilliant. You are so skilled and talented that seeing you are in fact human, and clearly humble, is wonderful. Thank you.
You are a genius, it is a pleasure to see the videos you upload. You are a source of inspiration for many people. I send you a big greeting from Argentina.
you know, i was just noting the detail work on the chip guard corner brackets, and admiring the work, But, what really catches my eye is the *thought process* and attention to every detail...

Great video as usual, the crashes at the begining brought back some memories 😢. A few tips as you start: try to stay in the 1/8 to 1/4in (3 to 6mm) range end mill for this power and spindle speed. If you need to engrave, brass is easier. Consider building a complete enclosure - CNC are messy and more importantly watch your CAM toolpath, you have a lot of tool pressure on your ring example when stepping to the next ring.
Wow! Cà Lem, you are amazing! You are, without doubt, an absolute genius! You find a way to make it happen, somehow! Thank you for continuing to share your amazing journey with the rest of us! You're the man! :)
Brilliant job as always. I got my first CNC mill for Christmas. An already converted sieg x1 clone. Not a bad little machine and taught me a lot. Just bought an old XYZ 3000/5000. Slightly bigger by about 1500kg. Lost its parameters so going to convert it.
Cà Lem, I, among many others, really admire you for your amazing attitude, skills, and never give up approach! Thank you sooooooo much for continuing on and sharing your machining adventures with the rest of us! Massive kudos, buddy!!! :)
I gotta say this to you Ca lem, your fake is better then most people’s real! And dont ever doubt that, the only person you compare yourself to is yourself and that is why you will never stop growing, learning and developing your skillset. Every mistake is a lesson learned to temper your “metal”. I look up to you and that is a fact!
looking and working great! I've had my share of z axis crashes. A fulltime cnc guy where i worked pointed out that no matter how big the E stop button is or where its located it;s too small and too far away to save the day.
Babe wake up, ca lem just posted a new video
You just won an oscar bro 😅
Clicked the likey button before playing it 😅
The most inspiring thing about watching your videos is remembering that you are completely self taught.
That's a great project!
Congratulation for this superb and advanced machine! Over the years you made so much progress. Impressive.

This is a great first comment to read while watching the intro.

What a great build and video. Your craftsmanship and skills are amazing. Enjoy watching your work so much. Makes my day.
Thanks for sharing.
Gday, mission accomplished, massive job and you nailed it, cheers
Bravo. Heroic build as usual. I know you'll be adding a pneumatic drawbar and automatic tool changer so I won't even mention it! 😁
You are a pro 🙂
What you make
You make it like a pro 👍
I am inspired already.
Good outcome of a huge effort. I don't think there is anything you cannot do.
I've waiting for your videos more than GOT seasons 😅
Great work, so happy to see you again. Looking forward to more. Your channel is one of the best on you tube!!!🥰😀
Super nice job. But no sleeping on the job.😂😂😂😂 time to make something.
😅 im getting old.

Very nicely done Cà Lem!

Congrats on advancing your shop and successfully finishing this titanic job!
Awesome as usual Ca Lem! A tip for stripe painting; after masking, paint over the tape with the base colour first, then do the 2nd colour, bleed will be of the base colour only.
Cheers
Awesome. Thanks alot for this trick😊
I'd call that a success as well! The yellow stripes around the motors is a nice touch.
Great build, the machine's looking like it's ready to make some aerospace parts. Looking forward to seeing more of it in action.
Having a CNC mill opens up a world of possibilities. I bought one already converted and dont know how i got by without it.
More excellent workmanship from you young master 👍
There will always be something to fix...
There will always be many things to learn...
But that is another fantastic success! 👍
Thank's for another great video.

Can't wait to see what you create on this lovely project 👍🏼
Opening with your mistakes is brilliant. You are so skilled and talented that seeing you are in fact human, and clearly humble, is wonderful. Thank you.
Awesome build! And the fact you used a bespoke cnc controller and not just stupid mach or linux cnc is even better! Looks professional!
First time I spotted “The Most Handsome Machinist” - very good! :)
WOW! impressive build. Well done.
Building your own CNC-machine is indeed also a very nice way to spend your Sunday afternoon :)
🤪!
You are a genius, it is a pleasure to see the videos you upload. You are a source of inspiration for many people. I send you a big greeting from Argentina.
Priceless skills! just amazing!

Wow, Cà Lem! I was impressed at the six-jaw chuck project, but this is even bigger. Well done!
Your ingenuity is so impressive. Great build.
