I was here last week
The place may not be this beautiful for long. illegal rock harvesters have invaded Watamu. They are even quarrying under the new Watamu- Malindi highway, behind Jacaranda Beach Hotel near and probably under the safaricom masts and across access roads. In a few days, they leave unsuspecting people's plots with gaping quarries. They are spoiling the beauty of the place.
