We are at Gatlinburg Tennessee, celebrating my husband's 57th birthday. We just went to the Best Italian Cafe for lunch; had a steak burger & Italian flag pizza.
Wow, they were superb! Even fried was crispy with skin, and the cheese for the pizza was flavorful. I'm so happy that we found another cafe where we can keep visiting next time we come to Smoky Mt~

Bobbi it can be over done and in your case it was. We have a favorite pizza place here in VB and when we order they know not too load up on it.

John had the right choice this trip! One of my favorite places in Gatlinburg. I think a lot of that parking is reserved for the Elk’s Lodge.
It might be not sure. I was always told to try to get their early and get a spot. Thanks for the info. I never park in this area much usually get the $2 a hour parking.😎😎
If you're eating at the Best, all the spots that's available are ok to use ..I used to have to chase after people who would park and walk off..lol

Small family-owned pizzerias are the best. The food looks amazing. I agree with that guy, if the pizza is good, you don't need any toppings. Wow, that was not a bad price for all that either.

That was a nice blog! All of you getting together. Wow Shawn worked there. Glad to know the owner was from Boston. The food was fresh and attention to detail was wonderful. I personally wouldn’t be looking to eat in a place like that down there I’m looking more for a local flavor plus being from NJ it would have very tall shoes to fill. But it looks like a nice family style basic Italian joint. It was really nice to see you You Tubers getting to enjoy each other’s company and that’s really what it’s all about! Your video quality was just fine IMO. Gatlinburg Rocks!! I Am Ready!!

I hear ya about not much to do where you live...I'm in NJ and although I live not far from Phila and NYC I'm not a city person anymore so I never go there. There's not a ton to do here either except I do love meandering around some of the shore/beach towns in the nice weather. I do love spending time out in Lancaster, PA...I was happy to see your post last year from the whoopie pie festival! I've been going there for more than a decade yet was never in town for that festival. If they have it this year maybe I will make it out there. This looked like a lovely place for a nice Italian meal. The fact that they had veal parm on the menu is great - that is rare to see these days! Isn't veal lamb though - they put it under the beef category. hehehe Maybe I am wrong! I would be perfectly happy (at least when I was eating it) with the amount of cheese in that lasagna. I can say there is never enough cheese (later, I might not be so happy about it, however LOL). The garlic rolls looked amazing. That is always a staple for me with Italian. Thanks for having Sean (and friends) around for this go-around too. It is nice to get different perspectives - and I love Sean's secret cooking tips! I would love that lunch portion cheese pizza too. Thanks for the video, as always!

Hi John and Bobbie. That food looked amazing. I just had spaghetti and meat sauce for dinner with a glass of red wine. I love Italian food with red wine but I like pizza with coke. Anyway it is great eating with friends and having great food with them. I found the lighting was fine and you always do a good job of showing us your meals❤️

One of my favorite places to eat while in Gatlinburg. Make sure to go to the one in Elks Plaza and not the one on the strip.
