As always thank you Roy. Videos are now starting to be a way of life for me as my modelling days due to health are down to about 2-3 hours a week.

Ha! Bartholomew, Leonor's Nativity scene is si big that I think it would be easier to put my layout on IT. I told her that the scene needs some trains running through it. Let's see if I can include it in a video. She's working on the scene right now. ...Roy

Hi Roy, great update & great layout photos of many model railroad layouts. I took a few pictures of the train under the Christmas tree some of which need to be retaken & some turned out nice. My freight car inventory is now at 82 cars, 2 cabooses,2 freight locomotives-1 Santa Fe & 1 Southern Pacific. The Southern Pacific EMD SD70M flat radiator is pulling 17 freight cars & the Southern Pacific bay window caboose when I run the freight under the Christmas tree.

Hello there, Norman! I'll have to check out what Steve A. has done. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. A number of people have decided to buy and try gimbals for filming their trains and layouts. I think it's exciting and fun to see how we can improve our videos, using new technology. ...Roy

Always nice to see so many great layouts. Being still fairly new, it can be frustrating when a problem in construction, wiring, etc slows or even stops your progress. I need some inspiration through photos of layouts still in basic construction. Those more or less completed ones are the goal, but so many of us are still in the 'struggle' phase. So those of you out there, PLEASE send some photos of "under construction " layouts.

I've got to thank you, Roy - much inspired by your videos I've recently ordered my first new model trains in about 15 years. I can't say I expect to have any layout photos to post any time soon, but I've decided that when I am able to model in earnest, it will be the Keikyū and Municipal Subway lines in Yokohama, Japan - centring on Kamiōoka and Kanazawa-bunko stations. Kamiōoka is a station I used many times myself in the past, while Kanazawa-bunko is interesting for operations as 8- and 4-car multiple units serving the more rural southern extremities of the Keikyū network are coupled there into 12-car trains for the run through the dense urban areas of Yokohama, Kawasaki and southern Tokyo. I don't know yet whether I'll model both stations or possibly conflate them into a single, fictional one, but I'm excited to see what I can achieve and, above all, to play with some trains. Thanks a lot for the inspiration, Roy!

Thanks for the photo's Roy - this is always one of my favorite pieces of yours... I'm up to 62 names of (IMHO) exceptional modelers I'd love to see more of!
Is there any chance of getting people to include a YT channel or website name if they have one?
Oh, and as to the gimbal, maybe you could do some trackside train pacing? (As opposed to the drone views.) We never really get to see your layout from this perspective - and I bet it would look awesome!!!
    Great work!👍

"Your Layout Photos" has always been the most popular segment of Dispatch, my friend. Glad you like it! I certainly can invite people to share the link to their website or channel, and then see what happens. Thanks for your suggestion regarding trackside views with the gimbal. I'll give it a try in upcoming videos. ...Roy

    Hey Roy,
Have a question that’s unrelated to the video.
I have the Kato double track feeders, I have around 7 on my helix, the issue is every time a loco goes over them they derail, it doesn’t matter which loco, all different sizes they jump the track, and I notice a space under the double feeder, it’s not sitting directly on the plywood, I have had issues with derailments before with the normal double track straights, do you know of anything I could be doing wrong? Do I have to put a different piece before and after the piece of double track? It’s really annoying, just dropped 200$ on feeders and feeling like I’m screwed!
