    저희 동네 풍경이 많이 담겼다 했는데 집도 이 동네로! 한국 사실 때 이 동네 사셨군요~ 교통, 공원, 시장, 맛집, 백화점 등등 살기에는 정말 편리한 곳이죠 ^^ 행복한 한국 생활 되세요~

    Hello, did the owner ask what you do for a living or your source of income? Or do you just pay/negotiate like that?

    The problem is it is far too expensive to buy a house there. A house there can be even more expensive than a house in Australia which is considered to be very overvalued.

    • @ACoupleofNomads
      @ACoupleofNomads  Před rokem

      That’s very true. But if you are willing to look outside of Seoul, it maybe is a bit more affordable. But we hear you! It’s expensive. 💸💸💸

    Do you know if it's easy to buy old property/hanok around Jongno 3(sam)-ga? I am a DIY guy and dont like to live in tall apartment blocks.

    • @ACoupleofNomads
      @ACoupleofNomads  Před rokem

      Hi we are not experts regarding buying a property. I suggest you to walk around the area you like and consult some of the real estate office (부동산) to see what's available. For hanoks, I've heard that you may need to completely renovate, which isn't going to be easy as the properties mostly likely be very old.

    Here in Seoul, we think that realestate as an investment and it is huge expensive so usually get mortgage😂😂

    Congrats! What happens after two years, could you re-rent your place or is it finite? If so, why is that?

    • @ACoupleofNomads
      @ACoupleofNomads  Před rokem +1

      Hi, you can renew your contract as long as the landlord agrees as well. Some cases a landlord wants to end the contract for whatever reasons, but otherwise you can keep renewing the contract. It's case by case.Thank you for watching!

    So for a Jeonsae you have to pay the bank back 200million KRW in two years? that’s like over 7million krw per month plus interest maybe I’m not understanding properly could you explain more.

    • @ACoupleofNomads
      @ACoupleofNomads  Před rokem

      Hi, no, so the way it will work is that you will be paying the interest to the bank every month. Since you get the money back at the end of 2 year contract unless you extend it, you can pay back the principal balance at the end of your housing contract. So, it's just an interest payment every month. Does that make sense?

    Hi for rent no way what happens if you change your mind about the apartment if you don't like it

    • @ACoupleofNomads
      @ACoupleofNomads  Před rokem +1

      It depends on what's on your contract. For us, if we were to break the contract (when there is no obvious reason) we have to find next tenant and pay for that tenant's realtor's commission.
