In this video, we haul the herd of mini Herefords home for feeding!

Long View Farm yep! The mini steers go to 4-H kids or we finish them out and get custom cuts to sell! We are absolutely in love with em! The full size calves all go on a truck in the fall so we can compete in the market. And that’s so awesome where are you based out of?
CJ Farms I’m in NY we like the lowline they are docile, the beef is excellent, nicely marbled and my customers seem to like the smaller cuts for portion control lol. I had dexters which we loved but the lowline seem to be a better fit
Long View Farm we noticed the same thing! When we first got started we had about 5-10 low lines and about 5 dexters. Over the years we’ve dwindled down and now we are down to 1 low line and some baldies. Miss the low lines tho that’s for sure!
How many head do you all run and on how many acres? I'm looking got get into minis over the next year or so.
We’ve got about 50 mother mini cows and we own 200 acres but we also run 80 full size cows on that 200. We also lease around 100 or so acres!
