You're the only Indian Laptop reviewer I watch. Just a small request: In the near future most of the games would be made in Unreal Engine 5 that provide realistic level graphics better than Hollywood CGI. In fact some movies like ford vs Ferrari, Rogue One are made in UE5. So please please test those games in your laptops to know which cpu, gpu is best suited to play those games. Some released are silent hill 2, layers of fear. Many including me are going to buy laptop that satisfy the specifications to play these games in the future.
Wow very good laptop specially for 3d artists as its rtx 4060 is faster than latest Mac pro m2 ultra 76 cores in 3d work. Excellent for all type of content creation and productivity work.

It will give us, buyers and your fanbase a fair comparison between laptops of different brands + noticeably, I have seen legion laptops a bit more towards the higher price end. I am thinking of buying Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 the i5 one. Its CPU scores are really good but even when it has 140W 4050, it stands really low against same cards as well as against 3060 with 130W in the benchmarks. What could the reason be?
When I initially bought my Dell G15 then the GPU wattage was locked at 75W but after a BIOS update it increased to 90W. So, I think Acer will also have similar updates in future. Still this is an amazing laptop. Acer Helios series now replaces Lenovo Legion series in temperature control and performance. Good job Acer.
I don't know is only me who noticed that i5 13th gen rtx 4050 wala and i7 13th gen 4060 wala are all same he just changed the benchmarks and gaming test which is very smart and efficient for him as well as for people😂...good work venom bhaiya❤

The whole point of launching this rtx 40 lower end series is that they improve gaming experience for 1080p. As claimed by nvidia 77% of gamers are playing at 1080p so I don't think so any software update will increase the performance. And Ti version have no news updates . So i think it will be good to wait for further variants.

4060 is better performing with 2gb more vram compared to the 6gb on rtx 4050, rest all pretty much the same as they both draw 140-145w max power as they mention.

Even before watching I can already tell, this laptop will have the same config which most laptops do nowadays, Core will at first seem like a bottleneck but go into heavy gaming (what its intended for) and gpu will be the bottleneck by a long shot. Still for its price not a bad reccomendation imo (preferred price wese 20k less hota)
I am the guy who buys Gadgets for 4-5 years, and treat those well, Still been using Poco F1 max spec till date. Still been using 2018 Acer Aspire with MX150. The games I play are FH4 which has stopped running fine on this machine and another one is GTA Online and not Offline one, and lately it has been breathing its last with much frame lagging even with low settings. I would love to see if some older games still run fine on these new machines or what. Not sure at all how machine getting older affects gameplay.
the reason why 3070ti perform better at 4k is because of the memory bus 3070ti is 256 bit whereas 4060 and 4070 is 128 bit only therefore they will perform better at 1440p and lower but at 4k and above higher memory bus size wins
4000 series GPUs are capadle of much more performance, i personally think NVIDIA capped the wattage level to control thermals better and avoid the heating issues

Really liked the decision of intel that they choose the hx powered CPUs for i5 and i7. They really outperform the Ryzen 7 7000 h or hs series. But i think in 1.5 to 1.8 lakh i7 13700hx is better than i9 13900h due to 4 more threads, bigger l2 and l3 cache ,55w base tdp etc etc. But when will the legion series revive the 2023 models are focusing more on ai than the useful features like back lighting for ports, 4 usb a ports instead of c(for future proofing), display(they are giving the same display from 2021 till now but they just changed the refresh rate from 165 to 240hz).
You are right Intel has done an outstanding job for their 13th gen series. Idk it will sound weird but ryzen 6800h and 7000h are not that powerful in terms of raw cpu power. I know they are power efficient but I like my cpu power unlocked and intel has done that. +1 for intel here I must say.

4050 and 4060 gpu's has low cuda cores when compared with rtx 3060 and rtx 3070 that's the reason its underperforming when compared on higher resolutions.
@@Samdevay As of today you don't necessarily have to spend that much for a laptop. You can opt for one with a 12th-generation CPU and an RTX 3060 or higher, which should be sufficient in my opinion for data science and al modeling.
14:00 The display output can be changed without getting into bios also. Go to Nvidia Control Panel > under 3d settings > Manage Display mode There will be 3 option: 1. Auto 2. Optimus 3. Nvidia GPU only.
I guess the acer nitro 5 with 3070ti is a better deal considering the price for gaming purpose majorly so that laptop is a good option coz this one is a bit costly btw i own a acer predator helios 300 2022 3060 variant from wht i observed the performance as of now is almost similar to my laptop comparing with this one so anyone viewing this comment should go for nitro 5 3070ti best value for money gaming beast
If the budget is 1.5 to 2 lacs brother and if you're looking for a windows laptop then you should go for predator 4070 version that'll cost you around 1.80 to 1.90 almost but that laptop needs no further introduction because that laptop is a beast it can slice through any task any work you'll throw at it simply a performance beast you should go for that

Helios 16 vs Helios Neo 16: Better build and cleaner look with RGB light bar and per key RGB - these are the useless cosmetic differences. Other than that the only main difference is in terms of Screen - For ~15 K more you get higher refresh rate (240Hz vs 165Hz) and higher color gamut (100% DCI-P3 vs 100% sRGB) I don't think there is anymore difference as the resolution and brightness figures looks the same.

Brilliant screen 3.2K resolution, 100% DCI-P3, i9 processor, 32gb DDR5 ram (clock speed 5200Mhz) on and since 4070 - it won't push beyond 100W and hence the slim chassis is more than good enough. All metal body so pretty durable. Compared to usual chunky gaming laptops:~500gm lighter, higher clock speed ram, higher screen resolution and very clean looks - can be easily used in a professional environment. Let us know what you took either way share your performance and thermal experiences.
@@balrajbenipal007 consider the games you will play - If they support Frame Generation and DLSS 3, then go with helios 4050. Otherwise 3070ti is roughly~20-30% better than 4050. Besides the extra 2 GB vram will really make a difference in 2/3 years. Though 8 seems pretty less too but 6 feels just absolutely worse. If you can push your budget then the one venom is reviewing here (4060) is a pretty decent buy for this generation. One more thing if you use an external screen then look at the TUF series laptops (their screens are pretty bad - except the A15 4060 version) - their 4060 with 12th gen chips are coming for roughly same price.

Legion is still a little more premium series. Both have good thermals. Acer cranks up the fan a little higher to achieve that.

4000 series have low memory bus, low cuda cores and low transfer speed than 3000 series it's not unoptimised it's just made bad purposely

Really liked the decision of intel that they choose the hx powered CPUs for i5 and i7. They really outperform the Ryzen 7 7000 h or hs series. But i think in 1.5 to 1.8 lakh i7 13700hx is better than i9 13900h due to 4 more threads, bigger l2 and l3 cache ,55w base tdp etc etc. But when will the legion series revive the 2023 models are focusing more on ai than the useful features like back lighting for ports, 4 usb a ports instead of c(for future proofing), display(they are giving the same display from 2021 till now but they just changed the refresh rate from 165 to 240hz).

You are right Intel has done an outstanding job for their 13th gen series. Idk it will sound weird but ryzen 6800h and 7000h are not that powerful in terms of raw cpu power. I know they are power efficient but I like my cpu power unlocked and intel has done that. +1 for intel here I must say.

4050 and 4060 gpu's has low cuda cores when compared with rtx 3060 and rtx 3070 that's the reason its underperforming when compared on higher resolutions.
Don't think so... blender scores are higher for 4060 compared to that rtx 3070ti in nitro 5. Must be the wattage.

@@Samdevay As of today you don't necessarily have to spend that much for a laptop. You can opt for one with a 12th-generation CPU and an RTX 3060 or higher, which should be sufficient in my opinion for data science and al modeling.

If the budget is 1.5 to 2 lacs brother and if you're looking for a windows laptop then you should go for predator 4070 version that'll cost you around 1.80 to 1.90 almost but that laptop needs no further introduction because that laptop is a beast it can slice through any task any work you'll throw at it simply a performance beast you should go for that

4050 is equivalent to 3060 in raw performance but 4050 gives more boost due to newer gen dlss and 4060 is comparable to 3070/ti

Helios 16 vs Helios Neo 16: Better build and cleaner look with RGB light bar and per key RGB - these are the useless cosmetic differences.
Other than that the only main difference is in terms of Screen - For ~15 K more you get higher refresh rate (240Hz vs 165Hz) and higher color gamut (100% DCI-P3 vs 100% sRGB)
I don't think there is anymore difference as the resolution and brightness figures looks the same.

Brilliant screen 3.2K resolution, 100% DCI-P3, i9 processor, 32gb DDR5 ram (clock speed 5200Mhz) on and since 4070 - it won't push beyond 100W and hence the slim chassis is more than good enough. All metal body so pretty durable. Compared to usual chunky gaming laptops:~500gm lighter, higher clock speed ram, higher screen resolution and very clean looks - can be easily used in a professional environment. Let us know what you took either way share your performance and thermal experiences.
@@balrajbenipal007 consider the games you will play - If they support Frame Generation and DLSS 3, then go with helios 4050. Otherwise 3070ti is roughly~20-30% better than 4050. Besides the extra 2 GB vram will really make a difference in 2/3 years. Though 8 seems pretty less too but 6 feels just absolutely worse. If you can push your budget then the one venom is reviewing here (4060) is a pretty decent buy for this generation.
One more thing if you use an external screen then look at the TUF series laptops (their screens are pretty bad - except the A15 4060 version) - their 4060 with 12th gen chips are coming for roughly same price.
