    I'm in Changsha, Hunan Province and after finishing a hike with Sandy I walk over to see a giant bust of Chairman Mao from when he was a young man located on the largest island in a river in the world.

      Hi Basia
      He did well, sounded good in the underground Amphitheatre
      Thankfully I wasn't hit from behind and sent over the railing into the river below.

      Thanks Kate
      Mao is still very much loved and respected in China. They understand he may have done some bad things, but they look at it as part of the journey that got them to where they are today...and he was the face of China for quite a long time.

    chinese are the best romantic songs writers and singers. i used to love this type of music and listened it a lot. this guy's performance is almost like a professional musician. he could become a pop star maybe. but too much competition in this area. because every second chinese can sing very well.

      Yes, he was excellent and the tunnel made him sound even better.
      I enjoy live music very much and, as you mentioned, there are many guys like him in China and around the world who can sing and play extremely well. If he has original material, he has a shot, he has a nice voice.

      Hey Leo,
      I've been out to Mao's hometown and this time, I made it out to the bust on the island. Mao looked good with a full head of hair.
      My friend Sandy lives in Changsha, which is why I return there. I've been there 3 times now, but have only scratched the surface on the place. It is such a huge city to explore.
      Yes, many beautiful girls in Changsha (and most places I go).

      Hi Leo, No, I was not aware of a Mao Hotel. Sandy selected the restaurants each night on this stop in Changsha. I'll ask her about this next time I get there. I enjoy the pork in China as well; my favorite is this type of pork (with eggplant) that I had in Hangzhou...Delicious!

    Dave, It's kind of strange that the mopeds ride on the same path as pedestrians in China because in Hawaii and Japan they always follow the same path as motor vehicles. Funny that the US was so afraid of communism they fought the Vietnam war yet the largest creditor of the US, other than the privately held Federal Reserve bank is China.

    • @DavidisDawei
      @DavidisDawei  Před 6 lety +1

      The Mopeds will drive on sidewalks and down the wrong way on one way streets...there is very little rule on the road in China....except bigger has the right of way (if you don't want to be crushed). Some people claim there are rules on the road in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing, but I have seen the same crazy drivers in those cities too - it is risky to trust that green light means go without looking both ways to avoid a potential accident.

    • @DavidisDawei
      @DavidisDawei  Před 6 lety +1

      Yes, not so funny because the USA has not learned its lessons from VERY RECENT History...
      Ho Chi Minh wanted to be an ally with the USA and he was turned into an enemy instead because the USA needs its bogeymen in order to justify increased spending on the military industrial complex with the guise of keeping its people safer.
      The USA government and its media continues to demonize other countries, but the US government has been the biggest demon on Earth.

      Refreshing to hear it from an American perspective, most ordinary working Americans are good people, only a big handful say things like "had it not for America"...

    • @DavidisDawei
      @DavidisDawei  Před 6 lety +1

      Yes, I agree with you Skyy..there are many good people, but we have allowed our leaders and their Masters to get away with capital crimes because people just cannot accept that as a likely reality
