bhaiya are non cs students (like chemical ,civil ,metallurgy etc. ) allowed to sit for the placements in a software company in a tech role ( considering they have the required coding skills) or they just have to sit for core job according to their respective department ??

Yes they r allowed to …u need to maintain some good cgpa and if u want to earn money n then even in core…is far more scope in core like chemical as told by our professors..Try to get a good rank but don’t take that stress..

May be 8 entry gates r there to MNIT but u being an outsider will be allowed through main gate only….yes location of MNIT is so good u can find anything mall,hotels nearby…there is no campus bus inside..
