Lovely to hear this discussion. I was coming to (Shi'a) Islam when my aunt told me about our Jewish roots (Sephardic and Ashkenazic). I'm told by many Shi'a Muslims that I know that I'm a one-off, and it does get lonely - but I find that the way that I think and talk is similar to you ladies (as in analytical and literary)..... Oh interesting: the word 'hush' means sense. In Persian they say 'ba-hush', meaning 'conscious', 'having conciousness'.
