Thanks Ablade TV for a very professional and respectful coverage of the final funeral proceedings of our illustrious son and King ,Nii Kinka Dowuona VI. The challenge for us the indigenes is to endeavor to make peace with other so that all that he achieved for Osu and Ga should not be in vain as some of the elders thankfully alluded to.
I have heard some of the elders saying , 'hiimeji' in their speeches. I have always thought that the plural for 'nuumo' is 'hiimei'. I would appreciate it if someone can correct me on this. Osu holds a special place in my heart, in that, I spent much of my life there - I went to Eddie Laryea Primary, then to Salem 2 and finally, Royal Preparatory School and lived there (Lokko Road)for a while in my adult life too, before moving elsewhere. I hope peace returns to Osu!
Why not just speak in local dialect. You struggle to speak a foreign language; even worse, most attendees can hardly comprehend what you're saying. That's stupid.
