    AP exams are literally crucial, especially at state colleges. They save a ton of tuition money and they let you avoid a lot of the really hard GE classes freshman face. The other thing high schoolers can do now is write out a schedule for each day. Exercising self discipline and motivation now helps a ton in the long run. Go Buckeyes!

      Planning absolutely is a game changer! Practice good habits now so that once you get to college, the transition is effortless. This works wonders and I can attest!!

    I love your enthusiasm, I wanna study film at FSU, what are you studying? Also what’s your opinion on the SAT and how big of a factor is it for getting in? I’m from out of state and this is the only school I’m applying to that requires test scores

    • @ashtonherndon
      @ashtonherndon Před 2 lety +2

      Hey Mason! I am currently studying entrepreneurship, but our film school is absolutely phenomenal and I have worked under alot of students and faculty in the program. With the SAT, i would say that everyone I know that is near the average has gotten in, and even people 20-30 points below get in but definitely around the range they suggest is a safe score to shoot for. With film school, the SAT weight may be a little different since their application is a little more focused on your work in film itself, but to be completely safe, just do your best and reach for the scores they suggest, be yourself in your essay, and go crazy on your film school app, you'll be in the clear!!

    Literally no one introduced college like that before. I got invited to a vlogging community earlier, think i could put you on the invite too, it has vloggers from florida,la and ny. You should introduce your vlogs there. Might help you with feedbacks,connections.

    Hey, could you pls tell me about the cost of living off-campus and on-campus for international students and opportunities for on-campus jobs?

    • @ashtonherndon
      @ashtonherndon Před 2 lety +1

      Of course! off-campus ranges anywhere from $450-$1300/month and dorms are anywhere between $4,000-6,000 a semester. Pretty much everywhere on campus is run by student workers so anywhere that you'd have an interest there is definitely a position! The campus facilities also host job fairs pretty often which are awesome to get an on-campus job.
