    This is crazy, I would never think about looking for fakes at TJ Max!!!

    That was one of the worst fakes I've seen. Despite all the tags on it, I would be afraid to buy it for $500 just in case they would not take it back. There are scamming customers, but I wonder how many items are scammed by employees. I've seen many horrible / used items at TJ Maxx and Marshalls.

    TJ Maxx should have the bags authenticated. Even Goodwill authenticate’s! Good video!!

    I bet someone purchased the real one, replaced the red tab on the fake one by just reattaching it (with a label gun you can buy on amazon) and returned it to the store. It's so ironic because I was just at Marshall's this morning and came across a FP sweater that I thought was odd, the FP label was off centered and there was no content and/or style tag! Low and behold I keep looking through the sweaters and up pops several of the same sweaters with the real label of a cheaper brand attached. The store definitely needs to educate their employees and needs a better security method for attaching the red tabs on high end items.

    Hi. I’m doing some investigating because I’m a huge TJmaxx fan and buy luxury. Not sure if we can blame TJ maxx if fakes are being returned. $500 is cheap for any Fendi bag. Unfortunately there’s a story like this for pretty much every pre owned site as well. Are the boutiques even a safe bet? Boutiques get fake returns and they don’t authentic their returns either supposedly. Thank you for sharing this information. 😊

    When purchasing any designer HB it's important to know it's origin. TJ sources there bags either from a retailer or the manufacturer itself. The buying team can track down where this Fendi baguette came from. Once they know, issue a charge back to the original vendor. I am sceptical of off price retailer's.

    I have been noticing so many fakes in TJMaxx lately! I recently thought that I found a Mara Hoffman dress with the tags, but after looking at the tags, they looked like they had been resewn on and the tag style didn't match! I had to let an employee know, because I think scammers are getting too confident with the fakes :(

    wow I definitely want to get into the luxury resell game but I don't personally own any bags over $500 which is usually tory burch coach or something along those lines so not sure how to authenticate other brands. I Just always figured that when I do come across something higher end that I think may be real I will just get it authenticated before listing it. But Stitching and hardware is the #1 thing I look for on the lower end designer brands that I resell. Bad stitching and low quality hardware is always a dead give away. Thats crazy though that no one at TJ maxx spotted that bc even though it was a little blurry at first this looks like something that you would buy at citi trends lol

  • @susan-thegracefullilymarke622

    Wow, I can’t believe people do that. When I return any item they get my drivers license so I think they have that persons info but then again they could have a fake ID. I’m not an expert but I would of spotted that fake with my eyes closed. They didn’t even bother to put a fendi name in it. They should give employees basic information on spotting a fake cause that one was so bad. This could of been prevented so easily.

    My Fendi Baugette is the best constructed luxury handbag in my collection. There are no flaws and the materials used (goat skin and suede) are such high quality!
    I could tell that was fake from the thumbnail...but that is because I own a real one and know what to expect with this particular bag.

    • @MsSixx
      @MsSixx Před 2 lety +6

      I don’t think it applies to luxury items. I’m sure it’s for necessities during a emergency

    • @mpatrick8673
      @mpatrick8673 Před 2 lety +6

      Reselling is not illegal, and it has been a Supreme Court case. As Mrs. said, it's for necessities being marked far and above fair pricing when supply is limited. Buying low and selling high is what all businesses do to turn a profit.

    • @giocondakisses
      @giocondakisses Před 2 lety +1

      That's absolutely not price gouging, look up for the definition... as much as we love and "need" a bag, is not a necessity and I don't think a state or nation would ever declare an emergency state for scarcity of bags lol
