Only recently, Eddie moved into a new bigger house that's down the road from his old one he lived like 1 min away from a co-op on a main road, he's very humble and still lives where he's from, picks his kid up from public school, the guys a class act.

100%. I Remember watching him years back doing a video of what he ate per day and he was poor as fook. Hard to fund consuming 10k calories a day when you hardly earn a penny from your sport or sponsors. Sad that people have earned more money on CZcams than being the best in the world at their chosen sport.@@CalTheDamned

Eddie literally left no stone un turned in his strong man journey, its very evident he looked to maximise everything. Lots of sports people could learn a lot from him!! I am pretty sure at his peak he was likely the statically strongest person to ever walk the planet
At his peak he was actually the statistically strongest person to ever walk the planet. He jumped the deadlift world record by 25 of 35kgs if I'm not mistaking.. And others have never attempted such a huge jump in weight.
@oGangir in the deadlift yes but I believe if he had tried he could have taken the squat and bench records aswell, ridiculous in all static lifts not just deadlift.

@pithius2191 shows that whilst tom is top of his game his mma training is clearly top tier but there is room to improve his ability in other areas such as recovery and nutrition etc as eddie certainly had to maximise thise things especially as he was 5-6 inches shorter than the likes of Brian Shaw and hafthor which does certainly effect your ability in strongman.
