She and I are the same age (I think) and every girl loved that dude. Our class got to watch Little Giants as a reward for something and every 6-7th grade girl was swooning. All of us boys hated him because of course.
Also, Garth Brooks is eternallynin my head. My dad listened to nothing but Garth for the entire 90s. To this day someone can randomly name a Garth album and I can go word for word, front to back through the album.
