I know no one will read this, but maybe I'll feel better after posting. I'm 32 years old and was just diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, and Complex-PTSD after finding out years ago that my 2 boys have Autism. I grew up in an abusive, narcissistic household. I'm now figuring myself out all over again, but I feel like I'm not good enough for my kids. Not only are they struggling, but I am too. The only thing keeping me alive is my husband, whom I have been with for 18 years. More than half our lives. I'm just now learning how to walk away from my past and start a new chapter in life. I really hope this next season in life actually takes me to where I can be happy, like I used to be...

I’m a 13 year old teenager. I’ve grown up in an abusive, toxic, and narcissistic household. my mother abused me half of my life and absolutely destroyed my life. I’d finally found the courage to call cps and finally got away. but I can’t stop hurting. it’s like the pain of the trama isn’t gonna go away.
Wow that’s heavy ❤ I feel for your situation- and honestly wish I could be more of help, but the best I can be here is clearly: you have more balls than half of the adults who are in situations where they are in the wrecked and wicked clutches of an abusive relationship, so be kind to yourself and learn from it, that at the very least ,YOU >now know >>exactly how you don’t ever want to ~ be. And by contrast to the toxicity that you survived you will be capable of making the most out of your own self, ever aware and ever kind- the truth is , not a single living being deserves such a monster, and it’s completely outrageous that these monsters even exist in the world!
