I agree with migvee. Pirates is more exciting, but I do love the fact we get to see the lost boys with peter pan. Wish we could have meet and greets with the lost boys. It would be so fun lol.
The Roy Rogers was "invented" in the 50's as a non alcoholic alternative drink and named after the popular actor because he did not imbibe ~ good to see you back in the park

I LOVED the Pirates segment of fantasmic, it was my absolute favorite part! The ghost ship look and the music was just top tier. I'm gonna miss it a lot!

I would agree with Miguel about fantasmic. Disney did chip away a few things but it’s still a good show. Hopefully in the future we get a Dragon.

I'm SO SO happy to see the Peter Pan section of Fantasmic back! That was my biggest gripe when they first redid the show...I'm not just as big of a fan of Pirates as I am of Peter Pan, and I was rather salty when they changed one of my favorite parts of Fantasmic. I do hope we see the dragon again- they way they did it works for now, but I'll be disappointed if it stays that way. I remember seeing the original version of Fantasmic as a kid during that first summer in 1992- my sister and my cousin and I didn't know to grab seats early, and we watched the whole thing while clinging to part of the loading dock for the Mark Twain. 😆
So excited to see Fantasmic at the end of June. I really hope they bring Tick Tock croc back!

I originally went to DL in the 60s and 70s. Obviously we didn't have Fantasmic back then. Then I didn't return until I got married in the early 2000s. My wife loved DL, so we ended up spending our honeymoon there. And ... due to technical difficulties at the time we didn't see Fantasmic. We have been a couple of times since and we always seem to miss Fantasmic. I am hoping next year when we go again we will finally see it ;)

I saw Fantasmic on Memorial Day 2024 and I saw it front in center with the Fantasmic Dining package from River Belle Terrace Restaurant; I got the Brunch. The Brunch was apple pie pancakes, a salad, and pudding and it was okay and a little bit too filling for me, especially the pancakes. At least, I got the Fantasmic Dining package from River Belle Terrace. I am so glad they got the Peter Pan showing in Fantasmic again; I haven't seen it since I was a kid. That is my favorite part of Fantasmic's return. It is still a bummer that the Maleficent Dragon is gone but I still enjoy the battle between Mickey and Maleficent and the entire show of Fantasmic is still wonderful.
I absolutley love Janelle's personality shes always a bundle of joy and happieness in every video. Even the time she had her tooth issue she was still just happy to be at Disney🌷✨🌈

oh for sure! as a kid in the 90s, my gramma would scout River Belle and literally save seats for the family for, like, 5-6 hours while the kids were on rides because she knew the Fantasmic view was perfect. She had goals. And she achieved them.

I’ve only ever done the dining package at Blue Bayou, we really enjoyed it! It’s more expensive, but it was about as much as we would have spent either way, so the seating is kind of just an added bonus.

I Got The River Belle 3-Course Meal Before Not Only The Pixar Fireworks Show But Also Fantasmic. What I Got Is A Chicken Pot Pie Soup As An Appetizer, The Nashville Hot Chicken Mac & Cheese Double Decker As An Entrée & Cherry Cobbler A La Modé As A Dessert. The Cobbler Is Like Giving A Warm Hug & My Soul Left My Body With Every Bite. Also Glad That I Met You Guys Behind You & Thanks For The Complement About My Sorcerer Mickey Hat.

I’m disappointed with River Belle Terrace. I’ve been there a few times and it’s always been mid. The service was always great but the food just doesn’t seem to live up to the hype.
But I’m happy to see that Fantasmic is back! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!

BBQ in CA doesnt hit the same as texas! brisket SHOULD be smoked for HOURS.... so it is tender and falls apart. Burnt ends are the burnt part of that brisket is that fat end or the slow cooked ends so for Disney to make that much brisket they'd need a warehouse size of smokers!

We ate at River Belle just before you guys. We did not care for the food there. We had the hot honey chicken sandwich and the salad. We even sat at the same table as you.

The oats on that dessert are not cooked well! When I make a fruit crisp, I mix the oats with brown sugar and butter and the crumble topping just gets all gooey and delicious when it's cooked. It looks like they threw dry oats on it before serving. I do appreciate you two trying all these things for us. I know what to get now and not waste my calories on! The show was nice. I kind of wish the dragon was back, but this will do for now.

Our family planned out Galaxy’s Edge fireworks for months! Huuuuuuge Star Wars heads. U saw my kids were waving their sabers. And no music!! Hellla disappointed, and frankly hurt 😡!! High winds cancelled the finale, but don’t understand why they couldn’t just play the music, and make it somewhat special for guests that only make it out once/twice a year.

I love PoC, the music really pumps you up. But for Fantasmic, Peter Pan makes the most sense. Fantasmic is all about Animation so PoC just doesnt fit. So Im glad they brought back Peter Pan 😄
Janelle, Tajin comes in to-go packs and even in mini Tajin bottles just in case. They are a perfect fit for dropping into your favorite Disney mini backpack!

River Belle pimento mac and cheese is great. It might be a little dry since it's baked and crumb-dusted so ask for a tiny side of the cheese if you can -- they normally sell the cheese sauce with breadsticks as an appetizer.

I miss pirates! It was nice to have it back but they took so much out! I’m hoping they are still tweaking it and Murphy will be back soon! It needs alot of work but it’s good that it’s back!
Something that would be fun if you guys are able to do it, is do a live stream from one of the restaurants, and have people vote on different items that you order. Obviously you’d have to do it within a short window, but it could be fun!
I loved the dragon scene I know there were some issues from it and maybe that’s why it’s just maleficent now but I def think the dragon scene hit more back then!

I love that they brought Peter Pan back, but I don't like the fact that tick tock is gone. And yes, I hope that they are working on a new dragon. We all know that there's flame retardant materials that could be used, and the show just isn't the same without it.

I had such a crush on Peter Pan when I was little, but for Fantasmic I per The Pirate ship, wish they had Barbosa as they do in Florida.
My group had such a contrasting experience opening night of Fantasmic 😅 we noticed how DCA seemed so empty compared to usual. And we also snagged a spot under the rope for Fantasmic at 845pm and then realized we were in the dining package section. Woops…. Guess we’ll enjoy the view until they say something. They never said something. Ha !

The refreshed show looks great! Though, narratively they're still missing a bet with not using Mother Goethel (from Tangled) using the magic mirror. But aside from that, everything else looks great

I was very interested in your review of Riverbed Fantasmic meal package.. We did the package last year before they shut down the show. At that time you stayed at your table for the show which depending on your seat made it difficult to see. I remember I had the steak which was luke warm and dry. I wasn't impressed. See your video and your reactions to the meals seems its still a hit and miss. Wife wants to go next week but we may pass on Fantastic dinning package till the crowds die down. Going for the Pork Chop. Love the way you're honest about the food. If it sucks you let us know. We met you once a few months ago in Adventure Land. We had our granddaughter with us celebrating her birthday as you were celebrating Janells birthday. Keep up the good work.
Also, when it first came out I watched videos of all 3 versions of Fantasmic in succession and I actually like this newest version the best! But I dont think it's at its peak yet.. rumor is Murphy may still be in the making so they def need to bring her back. But I think this 3.0 version is a good blend of the original and newer elements of the 2.0. I didnt really like the music and all the lighting in the 2.0 one so im happy to see they tamed it back down. Cant wait to see it again in person!
We just got back from Disneyland and had Fantasmic dining tickets but it got cancelled. So sad. We enjoy the Peter Pan Ship scene. We had the Zocalo lunch and it was great!
