when you pay the minimum amount too the priciple will be added with the intrest component compound intrest (principle will start growing exponentially , since the intrest added in the first year with the priciple bcomes the new priciple and it goes on ) so paying minimum amount due alone may help to maintain your Credit score or may avoid negatively impacting your credit score, but the principle debt will pile up
always finish the total outstanding due with in the billing cycle , and only spend whatever you can pay within the billing cycle and start spending further after settling the due ; so that you can rotate the Credit effectively
