  • How do you create amazing assessments and plans in medical school?
For some premeds and med students, there is too much information coming at you fast!
This makes piecing together information to have a cohesive, understandable and actionable assessment for yourself, nurses and other doctors really difficult. With everything going on in med school, especially with your rotations, sometimes there's no time to address that your system is not working.
But after you realize that, where do you get the motivation to make the change? Where do you begin to start making changes?
This is a skill you definitely need to learn and build on as you move forward to becoming a doctor. So, in this episode of the TMJ show, we talk about creating assessments and plans!
And the best part, you don't need expensive management systems or fancy apps to start!

Great method. Practice is important and your family can be great patient actors. I have our teams start doing SBARS early as well. #SimTribe

Any chance you can share those templates?

Thank you for this - can you recommend any programs that let you create templates based in top hospital admission dxs? Or ones that are better for dictating than perhaps others?

Hello there, this may be a silly question but hey-ho what am I going to lose by asking it, so I am a first year med student and I am finding it very hard to balance my daily lecture reviews and my previous lecture reviews. Is this normal or not and how can I steer myself to the right path.
Please note that I am fresh out of high school and I didn’t attend college; the system is a bit different from the north american way 😃
I hope that I didn’t come off as thickheaded as I expect in my comment 😅
Any tips would be appreciated 😄
