@@theastronomer5800 The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life….!!.!.!.!.

Quran Surah 4:171 says that Jesus was the word of God, then John 1:1 says that the word was there in the beginning. Top 10 Reasons why Jesus is God
The question about whether Jesus is God has been discussed over and over for years, among Christians and non-Christians alike. Thankfully, the scriptures point towards the fact the He is truly God, putting to rest the question, “Is Jesus God?” Below are 10 reasons why Christians believe Jesus is God.
1- The miracles that Jesus performed are extraordinary evidence of the fact that He is God. He healed lepers, Deaf and Blind individuals.
2- Jesus made several claims that could only have been fulfilled if He was God. In Matthew 11:28
3- Is Jesus God? Yes, He is, because He was in existence before the world was created. In John 1:1
4- Jesus possesses attributes that are unique to God. In Job 37:16, Job declares that God has perfect knowledge
5- in Hebrews 1:3, the Bible states that just like God, Jesus sustains all things. Lastly, Jesus, like God the Father, also forgives sin.
6- Jesus Himself claimed to be God In the Bible, Jesus refers to Himself as God. One example is in John 5:18
7- The Bible calls Jesus God Is Jesus God? The Bible refers to Him as God several times. In Isaiah 9:6, Jesus is referred to as a mighty God. In John 1:1, Jesus (The Word) was with God, and was God. In Colossians 1:15, the Bible refers to Jesus as the image of the invisible God.
8- Jesus possesses titles that are unique to God Some of the titles that refer to Jesus and are unique to God include the Lord (Isaiah 43:11), Savior of all the world (John 4:42), Savior from sins (Matthew 1:21), and the First and the Last (Isaiah 40:12). These titles point to the unique character and works of Jesus and God.
9- His resurrection from the dead confirms that He is God The fact that Jesus rose from the dead confirms that He is God because only God has power over sin and death. Romans 1:3-4
10- Jesus refers to Himself as divine In the Bible, Jesus refers to Himself as “I Am”, meaning that He was there before the world began.
God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit Amen

Revival7 - At the beginning of Christianity there were three sects that sprung out from Judaism: the Gnostics (philosophical thought of what they interpreted what meant to be a Christian); Judeo-Christians (believed in circumcising and keeping their Jewish Faith plus teachings of Jesus), and teachings of Paul. Paul never met Jesus and persecuted and killed early Christians. The form of Christianity as interpreted by Paul survived. The others pretty much died out.
Neither Jesus nor the Apostles in the early Church left Judaism. Jesus remained Jewish. All of them were circumcised. Now, God had made a Covenant with Abraham as follows: Inherit the land of milk and Honey, descendants as his wife was sterile and were pretty old, and that those descendants would rule over the all nations. In the times of Jesus, Israel has been ruled by the Romans which led to a 200 year old civil war among the Jews and also against Rome.
Therefore, the last promise to Abraham that his descendants would rule over all nations had not yet come to pass. Paul was previously Saul...Jesus recognized that the last promise made to Abraham needed completion and Paul, upon becoming a “Christian” set out to convert gentiles and bring them to Israel so that the promise to Abraham would come to pass. Paul did not require gentiles to circumcise and that was a big deal to most of the Apostles. Paul saw that the ends of days would happen in his lifetime.
All of them remained Jews, including Jesus. No one knows when the 4 books in the the New Testament were written, but it is clear that they were written much later by the followers of Paul. Jesus was a Rabbi who had a master teacher who was a Pharisee. They taught a philosophy of peace and love.
      I could say more. I’m not a Muslim. I’m a Christian.
Throughout the Bible Jesus calls himself “the Son of man.” It was subsequent Christians that made him the “Christ.” The first Bible was written in Greek because Greek in the early centuries was the Master Tongue.” Certainly some of the letters between Christian followers were written in Aramaic and Hebrew.

@@kiinyuum8001 but in Islam, Jesus is just a prophet, well perhaps he might call himself as son of a man (in Bible) but he brought message to people to Worship his father. His father is your father. The one who should be worshipped, right? And not him
      John 20:17, Gospel
[And indeed God is] my Father, and your Father [Creator]; and my God, and your God."
In Islam beliefs, Allah has power beyond everything. If he say Be then it is. He ask Gabriel the one who place Jesus in Mary's belly until it makes her pregnant without husband. And Allah wisely make Jesus could speak when he was a baby to protect his mother from people's insults towards Mary.
That's also the reason of your trinity, because yes this was happened only God and Gabriel who knows, but Mary didn't know anything so it couldn't be called as Jesus the son of God because God doesn't have connection to Mary or even as his wife on earth like Zeus dating a woman and had a baby half God like in Clash of Titans. Jesus is just a messenger of God, sent to be a good example of man to follow but not to worship him. He sent for Jewish not to establish new religion or whatever. Don't you know the history of Jewish back then towards many prophets? Also they have killed 300 unmentioned prophets in Quran.

Muslims around the world are being trained to ask Christians, “Where did Jesus say, ‘I am God, worship me,’ in those exact words?” However, if Muslims are suggesting that Jesus could only claim to be God by uttering a specific sentence, we may reply by asking, “Where did Jesus say, ‘I am only a prophet, don’t worship me,’ in those exact words?” The unreasonable demand for a particular statement, if applied consistently, would thus force Muslims to reject their own view!

Hello Michael. Firstly I would like to present this biblical verse. John 12:49 - “For I have not spoken on my own authority; but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment-what to say and what to speak.” Jesus Christ on several places in the bible appears merely as a prophet who was one of the mightiest. Here is his "'mightiness" : Deuteronomy 18:18 - I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. I would like to see what you reply upon reading those quotes. Secondly , if Jesus was God and divine , he knows everything then right? The future of mankind and all, so why would he do such act to sacrifice a human body if he loves everything in order for our sins to be gone? God is too powerful to allow such matter occur and be crucified in the body of Jesus.

@@saidbajrektarevic3035If Jesus was only a prophet and didnot die on the cross then:
      A) why would Allah allow someone to appear like Jesus to be on the cross and thereby mislead billions of people who lived and died as Christians and they be cast into hell for committing shirk?
Since allah is all knowing and all wise, couldn't he come up with a better plan??
      B) Why did Jesus while on the cross (or the guilty person on the cross resembling Jesus) say the following :
      a) And now Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began (John 17:5)
      b) Forgive the sins of the good thief and say to him, that he will with him in paradise today. (Luke 23:43)
      c) Father, forgive them, for they donot know what they're doing (Luke 23: 34).
How can a guilty person possibly say this? I.e. if It wasn't Jesus on the cross, then whoever was on the cross had to be a guilty person (like Judas for eaxmple). Why on earth would a deceitful Judas pray for forgiveness of his murderers and not forgiveness for his own sins??

God cannot be born but the bible says that jesus was the firstborn, and then everything came through him.
And yeah it says that Gods spirit was in jesus and Jesus says that the words spoken by him aren't his words but his fathers. What does this mean ?? '' He says that ''the father is greater than I''.
“Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.” John 14:21 (NLT)
Jesus came to earth and renewed the commandment,
1)Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
2)Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself
If a person loves thy neighbour, he/she will obey the commandments.will not commit murder, will not be with he/she's neighburs partner, will not steal where the commandments are obeyed.
and “I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt not have any strange gods before Me''the first renewed commandement is also covered.
But Jesus was not a messenger because non of the messengers were in heaven before coming to the earth.
but jesus was the firstborn,he was in the heaven (JOHN 6:38-40 says ''For I have come down from heaven'')
My question is from where did prophet muhammad come? is any place mentioned in the Quran ?? Why was Jesus risen from death and prophet muhammad not ?? the bible says that he jesus rose from death after 3 days?? why wasn't prophet muhammed.?

Logically Not Spiritually, Ok... Now let’s look at the first 19 verses of the chapter to see what is actually going on here:
John 5:1-19, “1 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches.
3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water.
4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.
5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, "Do you want to be made well?"
7 The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me."
8 Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk."
9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.
10 The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, "It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed."
11 He answered them, "He who made me well said to me, 'Take up your bed and walk.' "
12 Then they asked him, "Who is the Man who said to you, 'Take up your bed and walk'?"
13 But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place.
14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, "See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you."
15 The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.
16 For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath.
17 But Jesus answered them, "My Father has been working until now, and I have been working."
18 Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.
19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.”
Here Jesus had already claimed to be God in the same chapter. ( verse 17-18).
In verse 19, we can see that Jesus is actually talking about his human form not being able to do anything on its own. This is part of his statement of him being God. He’s saying he’s not just a mere man, but also God.
We know this not just by the previous verses ( verse 17-18) where claims to be God.
But, because he also said “ I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.”
Now let’s take a look at the next verses leading up to verse 30:
John 5:20-29, “20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.
21 "For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.
22 "For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son,
23 "that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
25 Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.
26 "For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself,
27 "and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.
28 "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice
29 "and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.”
Notice verse 21 Jesus says that he also gives life. This is him again claiming oneness with God.
And verse 22, Jesus is claiming to be judge, again making the claim of oneness with God.
And verse 23, that all should honour the son as the father. This is again Jesus claiming oneness with God.
And verse 24, Jesus is saying he who believes in his word, so he’s claiming it as his word. So, again he’s claiming oneness with God.
And verse 25, he is claiming to be God, which is understood as so by the immediate context of the surrounding verses.
And verse 28 is Jesus talking about his voice and by saying those in the graves will hear his voice, he’s talking about resurrection.
So, this is Jesus claiming that they will be resurrected by his voice. So, again he is claiming to be God.
Jesus has already claimed to be God 8 times before verse 30.

Matthew 14:33 Then those in the boat did obeisance to him, saying: “You really are God’s Son.”John 19:7
The Jews answered him: “We have a law, and according to the law he ought to die, because he made himself God’s son.” John 10:36 do you say to me whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? 1 John 5:10
The person putting his faith in the Son of God has the witness within himself. The person not having faith in God has made him a liar, because he has not put his faith in the witness given by God concerning HIS SON.

OK Muslim read this isn't that mean Jesus is God and he said that what part you people do not understand?

1 Peter 3:22: “Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to Him.”
Mark 16:19 “So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.”
      Matthew 1: 19-21
19 Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet[b] did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce(B) her quietly.
20 But after he had considered this, an angel(C) of the Lord appeared to him in a dream(D) and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[c](E) because he will save his people from their sins.”(F)
Zaik avoids context in verses he picks and chooses what he wants to talk about. Jesus also never said” I am a prophet don’t worship me” when he did get worshipped.

you still think Jesus claimed to be a god and he never said he is?
      he never said ""worship me""
he never said ""I am god""
if he did show me, I swear its simple English... i'm not trying to be rude but that's obvious!
But what does Jesus actually say? -
      - "...For the Father is Greater than I." John 14:28
      - "...My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all.." John 10:29
      - "I can of mine own self do nothing.." John 5:30
what you have been quoting was Hebrews,Philippians,Galatians,Corinthians,Thessalonians...who is that?
who is it? Jesus?... no!.. its Paul! Paul! Paul! Paul!
I want to know what my master Jesus says..I love him I respect him and I revere him,I want to follow him but I want to know what he says give me his words not what somebody else what he *thinks* or what he *thought* or what it was implied to..
religion salvation of my salvation does not depend upon people's interpretations yours or mine or anybody's, I want to know what did the master say! he said and i quote:
      - ...and the word which ye hear is not mine... John 14:24 ..The Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what i should say,and what i should speak. John 12:49 ...even as the Father said unto me,so I speak. John 12:50
so what he spoke was the truth (Jesus) maybe you understand things differently but i am prepared to abide by that.
when u say Jesus and God almighty are one and the same thing
      and u mean
      - "I and my Father are one" John 10:30
The verse is there in the Bible I cant contradict that ,I'm asking what is the context!
let me give u the context...
the context starts from verse 23,It says "and Jesus was walking in the temple courts in Solomon’s Colonnade. (24) So the Jews gathered around Him and demanded, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”"
they are alleging that he is talking ambiguously hes not putting for this claim clear enough,That's a false charge because we know he didn't speak ambiguously he put for this claim that he is the Christ he's the messiah, But the Jews wanted to pick a fight they didn't like his preaching, him calling them you generation of wipers you wicked and adulteress generation you fools you snakes!
would you like people addressing you like that?
and the Jews were not a people to forget in a hurry, so they find the man alone they surround him brandishing fingers at his face 'come and tell us! why dont you tells us' they want to pick a fight with him so they can walk themselves into a frenzy and give him a good bashing get their own back, so Jesus says :
" Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me" "But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you" " My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
"My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand" ((("I and my Father are one")))
in this to see that once a man has accepted that faith he remains in faith,i as a teacher see to that as God almighty sees to that, in purpose we are one, But the Jews were looking for trouble.. and if you are looking for a trouble you don't have to go very far you can get it on the corner,so they picked up stones to stone him so Jesus says:
"Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?"
      the Jews said :
" The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself ((God))"
they are saying 'you are a man claiming to be a God!'
that's another false charge first false charge was that he was speaking ambiguously that's a Jews alleged,The Christians agree with the Jews they said he did make such a claim but he was entitle to it,lets us read what Jesus says:
"Is it not written in your Law: ‘I have said ye are gods’?"
      ye=you are gods!!!!
If he God almighty called them gods means the prophets are called gods in our language man!! the prophets!!! God almighty speaks to Moses and he says:
"And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.".
In the book of Psalms 82 verse 6 God says
"“I said, ‘You are “gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’"
that's a genius of the Jewish language! that when a person is called a god hes not god like in 2 Corinthians 4:4 "and the Devil is the god of the world" the Devil!! is he god? no!!
this is your language means he's in control so you say he's a god, Moses is god to Pharaoh and Jews are called gods,That's the genius of the Jewish language....
(Jesus) why are trying to find fault in me.. when i am only saying I am the son of god when others are called gods!

Here is what God says in the Quran
(Jews and Christians): "Why do you disbelieve in the Ayat of Allah, [the Verses about Prophet Muhammad SAW present in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] while you (yourselves) bear witness (to their truth)."3:70
So if you (O Muhammad SAW) are in doubt concerning that which We have revealed unto you, [i.e. that your name is written in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] then ask those who are reading the Book [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] before you. Verily, the truth has come to you from your Lord. So be not of those who doubt (it). 10:94
Verily, those who disbelieve and did wrong [by concealing the truth about Prophet Muhammad SAW and his message of true Islamic Monotheism written with them in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], Allah will not forgive them, nor will He guide them to any way 4:168
Then in the footsteps of the prophets, We sent Jesus, son of Mary, confirming the Torah revealed before him. And We gave him the Gospel containing guidance and light and confirming what was revealed in the Torah-a guide and a lesson to the God-fearing. 5: 46
Say, “O People of the Book, you have nothing to stand on unless you observe the Torah and the Gospel and what has been sent down to you from your Lord.” Your Lord’s revelation to you [O Prophet] will only increase them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people. 5: 68
God here is taking about Jesus:
Remember My favour to you and to your mother: how I strengthened you with the holy spirit, so that you spoke to people in your infancy and as a grown man; how I taught you the Scripture and wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel; how, by My leave, you fashioned the shape of a bird out of clay, breathed into it, and it became, by My leave, a bird; how, by My leave, you healed the blind person and the leper; how, by My leave, you brought the dead back to life; how I restrained the Children of Israel from. 5: 110
Those who follow the Messenger - the unlettered Prophet{Muhammad} - whose description they find in their Torah and the Gospel. He enjoins them to do what is good and forbids them from what is evil; he makes lawful for them what is pure and makes unlawful for them from what is impure; he relieves them of their burden and the shackles that were on them. So those who believe in him, they honor and support him, and follow the light which is sent down with him - it is they who will be successful.” 7: 157
Jesus, son of Mary, said, ‘Children of Israel, I am sent to you by God, confirming the Torah that came before me and bringing good news of a messenger to follow me whose name will be Ahmad.’ [Mohammed]Yet when he came to them with clear signs, they said, ‘This is obviously sorcery.’ 61:6
Has there not come to them the proof of that which is (written) in the former papers [Scriptures, i.e. the Taurât (Torah), and the Injeel (Gospel), about the coming of the Prophet Muhammad 20:133
So if Jews and Christians disbelieve in there book about the coming of the prophet {Muhammad SAW} than that means they not only the disbelieve in the Quran but they disbelieve in there own book as well.
The coming of another prophet {Muhammad} in the Bible.
      (John 16:12-15, NRSV)
I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, because he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine. For this reason I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
      (Deuteronomy 18:18-19, NRSV)
I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their own people; I will put my words in the mouth of the prophet, who shall speak to them everything that I command.(Deut 18: 18-19, NRSV)
      Matthew 24:4-5
And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.
      John 14:26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

      1. Matthew 24:36 No one knows about that day or hour, not even the Son, but the Father only. Here Jesus makes a distinction between what he knows and what the Father knows.
      2. Matthew 26:39 My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me, yet not as I will, but as Thou will. Jesus’ will is likewise autonomous from God’s Will. Jesus is seeking acquiescence to God’s will.
      3. John 5:26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so he has granted the Son to have life in himself. Jesus received his life from God. God received his life from no one. He is eternally self-existent.
      4. John 5:30 By myself, I can do nothing: I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who has sent me. Jesus says, “by myself, I can do nothing.” This indicates that Jesus is relying upon his own relationship with God. He is not trying to “please myself” but rather is seeking to “please the one who sent me.”
      5. John 5:19 The Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees the Father doing, because whatever the Father does, the Son does also. Jesus declares that he is following a pattern laid down by God. He is expressing obedience to God.
      6. Mark 10:18 Why do you call me good? No one is good, except God alone. Here Jesus emphatically makes a distinction between himself and God.
      7. John 14:28 The Father is greater than I. This is another strong statement that makes a distinction between Jesus and God.
      8. Matthew 6:9 Our Father, which art in Heaven. He didn’t pray, Our Father, which art standing right here!”
      9. Matthew 27:46 My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me? Inconceivable if he is God the Creator.
      10. John 17:21-23 . . .that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. . ..that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. In this prayer Jesus defines the term “to be one.” It is clearly accomplished through the relationship of two autonomous beings. Christian believers are to model their relationship (to become one) after the relationship of God and Christ (as God and Christ are one). Notice that “to be one” does not mean to be “one and the same.”
      11. 1 Corinthians 15:27-28 For he "has put everything under his feet." Now when it says that "everything" has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all. Paul declares that God put everything under Christ, except God himself. Instead God rules all things through Christ. (remember: “through him all things were made.”)
      12. Hebrews 1:3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being. Jesus is the exact representation of his being. I send my representative to Congress. He is not me, myself. He is my representative. 13. Hebrews 4:15 (compared with James 1:13) For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet without sin. Jesus has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet he never sinned. See James 1:13: When tempted, no one should say, God is tempting me. For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt. Jesus was tempted in every way, but God cannot be tempted. This is why Jesus said, “don’t call me good, none are good, only God.”
If a man[Jesus] was God than how about Angels we both know that they are more powerful and greater in size than humans and they were created from light. Humans on the other hand are created from clay. Also Angels don't eat and poop like humans and they don't feel pain like us So let me acks you do you still think that a human can be God? That would mean a Angel would more bigger and beautiful than him its crazy just thinking about it right? its true Jesus it worshiped but do you want to know what else is worshiped? The cow, elephant, stars, moon, sun and many other people and statues that people created. People just want to worship anything they can see and not God So please do not be from those people. I do not reject God if Jesus was God than I would definitely worship him because I do not want to go to hell just like you. So all I acks of you is to just worship God the one who created you.

When Adam disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, his sin poisoned the rest of creation (Romans 5:12), and the sinful nature we inherited from Adam has separated us from God. Because of God’s great love for us, however, He had a plan (Genesis 3:15). He would come to earth as a human being in the person of Jesus Christ and willingly lay down His life for us, taking the punishment we deserved. When our Savior cried out from the cross, “It is finished” (John 19:30), our sin debt was forever paid in full. Jesus Christ saved us from certain death and a horrible, godless eternity.

      John 14:26

      John 8:48-59
The Jews answered him, “Are we not right in saying that you are a Samaritan and (A)have a demon?” 49 Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon, but (B)I honor my Father, and you dishonor me. 50 Yet (C)I do not seek my own glory; there is One who seeks it, and he is the judge. 51 Truly, truly, (D)I say to you, if anyone keeps my word, he will never (E)see death.” 52 The Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon! (F)Abraham died, as did the prophets, yet (G)you say, ‘If anyone keeps my word, he will never (H)taste death.’ 53 (I)Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? And the prophets died! Who do you make yourself out to be?” 54 Jesus answered, (J)“If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. (K)It is my Father who glorifies me, (L)of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’[a] 55 But (M)you have not known him. (N)I know him. If I were to say that I do not know him, I would be (O)a liar (P)like you, but I do know him and I keep his word. 56 (Q)Your father Abraham (R)rejoiced (S)that he would see my day. (T)He saw it and was glad.” 57 So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?”[b] 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, (U)I am.” 59 So (V)they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.
      Exodus 3:14
God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
Jesus says he existed before Abraham, and is greater than the prophets, and calls Himself “I AM”. This is the Name of God in Exodus, that Jews won’t even speak, because this Name is so holy. So, this is like a man calling themself “Allah”. And then the Jews tried to stone him, because this was the punishment for blasphemy, which they said he committed, for claiming to be God.
      John 10:25-33
Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”
So, Jesus says he gives men eternal life (God gives eternal life), he then says I and the Father are One, can you say that as a Muslim? And then the Jews try to stone him for “claiming to be God.”
      Daniel 7:13-14
“I saw in the night visions,
and (A)behold, with the clouds of heaven
there came one like a son of man,
and he came to the (B)Ancient of Days
      and was presented before him.
14 (C)And to him was given dominion
      and glory and a kingdom,
that all (D)peoples, nations, and languages
      should serve him;
(E)his dominion is an everlasting dominion,
      which shall not pass away,
      and his kingdom one
      that shall not be destroyed.
Jesus calls Himself this Son of Man:
“You have said so,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven” (Matthew 26:64).
“But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home” (Mark 2:10-11).
He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again (Mark 8:31).
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” (Matthew 28:18).
      John 17:5
And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.
      John 20:28
Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Jesus doesn’t admonish Thomas for calling Him God.
      Revelation 22:13
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
      John 5:17-18
In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father(A) is always at his work(B) to this very day, and I too am working.” 18 For this reason they tried all the more to kill him;(C) not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.(D)
      Luke 22:67-70
“If you are the Messiah,” they said, “tell us.”
Jesus answered, “If I tell you, you will not believe me, 68 and if I asked you, you would not answer.(A) 69 But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God.”(B)
70 They all asked, “Are you then the Son of God?”(C)
He replied, “You say that I am.”
      Matthew 26:63-65
      But Jesus remained silent.(A)
The high priest said to him, “I charge you under oath(B) by the living God:(C) Tell us if you are the Messiah,(D) the Son of God.”(E)
64 “You have said so,”(F) Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One(G) and coming on the clouds of heaven.”[a](H)
65 Then the high priest tore his clothes(I) and said, “He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy.
      Mark 14:60-62
Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?” 61 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer.(A)
Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”(B)
62 “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
      Matthew 8:23-27
As he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. 24 And a great storm developed on the sea so that the waves began to swamp the boat. But he was asleep. 25 So they came and woke him up saying, “Lord, save us! We are about to die!” 26 But he said to them, “Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was dead calm. 27 And the men were amazed and said, “What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!
      Matthew 28:9
Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.
      Luke 5:20
And when he saw their faith, he said, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”
      Jesus forgives sins?
Asking for a specific quote btw is an intellectual fallacy, it’s very clear in the Bible that Jesus claimed to be God. Where in the Bible does Jesus say “I am just a prophet, don’t worship me”? If we are going by the Bible’s standards and not some man centuries after the fact.

    2 John

There is an insincerity in the challenge of this preacher. The disciples of Jesus preached His divinity, per example John in the first chapter of his gospel and clearly the book of Revelation, but muslims believe John lied. So, any reference whatsoever about Jesus besides Coran is not trustworthy to muslims. So, Bible and Coran cannot argue, which means Allah and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are not the same, which means one must be God, and the other the Devil. That's why until Jesus will come as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to judge, there will ever be strife between the spiritual children of Ishmael and those of Isaac.

Anyone who claims Jesus Christ never claimed to be God either has never read the New Testament or is completely missing the dozens of clear statements Jesus made of divinity. In Mark 14:61-63, Jesus was on trial for this very reason and ended up getting crucified. Why would Jesus be accused of something he didn't claim? If Jesus never claimed to be God in the flesh, he sure doesn't seem to be denying this claim, in fact he only affirms it in this text. You may not believe in Jesus, but don't say he never claimed divinity, this was the very reason he was on trial in the first place and his answer got him crucified, Jesus believed himself to be divine and was so sure of who he was and so sure he would rise after 3 days he was willing to suffer a horrible death.

It’s easy to be fearful when things aren’t going well or when we are faced with challenges and conflict in our life. In the midst of their struggle, however, God tells His people to wake up and recognize who’s on their side.
and Exodus 14 : 14 is in the moses (Peace be upon him) time and it is refering to Allah to save moses ( peace be upon him) from pharaoh
      From christian :
In the Old Testament, you will see the word Lord often spelled with all capital letters. When this is the case, the word is a translation of YHWH, which means, “I Am.” God the Father reveals himself to Moses for the first time calling himself, “I Am” (Ex 3:14). There is a sense here that God wants us to understand that he never changes, and to relate to him is to relate to him right here, and right now.

Yeah! You don't know. There are contradictions in Bible. Some verses of bible says that Jesus is God while other verses confirm that Jesus is not God. There are 90 verses of the Bible which are confirming that Jesus is not God.
There are mathematical contradictions in Bible. If there are mathematical errors in Bible, then it can be error of anywhere. Bible teaches about flat earth. Bible teaches that earth is motionless. Earth is stable in universe according to Bible.
Whereas we know that planet earth has it orbits, earth is moving

    1 John 4:9-17
9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
10 In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12 No man has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
13 By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his own Spirit.
14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son as the Savior of the world.
15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
16 So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
17 In this is love perfected with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so are we in this world.

    John 11:25-26
25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,
26 and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?"

Dr. Zakir Naik quoted the Gospel of John Ch 16 V:12-14, which talks about "The spirit of truth" and tried to connect the prophet Muhammad as the advocate of the truth. Let us go back two chapters and take a look where Jesus explains and introducing us the advocate, or "The Spirit of the Truth".
In John Ch 14: 15-17, Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
    .
15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever- 17 The Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
Jesus was the advocate for those who believed HIM while HE was in this world with us. Jesus didn't leave us as orphans, His promise of Holy Spirit was fulfilled In verse 16. It clearly identifies the advocate to be with us forever ( I am certain that prophet Muhammad at present is not with us ). The very next verse 17 also further explains the spirit of the truth (Holy Spirit) feature and characteristic, As it cannot be seen or know. (I am also certain that the prophet Muhammad when he was born in 571 AD and passed away 632 AD, he was seen during that time in this world). The only way that Spirit of Truth (Holy Spirit) be in us if we accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior in our earthly life, and be with HIM eternally afterlife.

Alfred Das, the Holy Spirit was there before Jesus. Thus, can’t be the Holy Spirit if he is yet to come.
Ironically, Jesus (pbuh) says in John 16 V 13-14 “He will not speak on his own: He will speak only what he hears, and will tell you what is yet to come. 14. He will glorify me...”
      1) I don’t see how the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus (pbuh) in recorded history as prophet Muhammad literally does (pbuh)
      2) prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was given the Quran through angel Gabriel verbally and was told to repeat after him. “He will not speak on his own: He will only speak what he hears.”
      The shoe fits.

Logically Not Spiritually, 11 Biblical reasons why Jesus is God
      1. PROPHESY IN THE OLD TESTAMENT ( Of Jesus being God):
Isaiah 7:14, “All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means 'God is with us').”
      PROPHECY CONFIRMED
( in the Gospel of Matthew):
Matthew 1:23, “Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son,
and they will call him Immanuel,
which means 'God is with us.”

      3. THE DISCIPLES WORSHIPED JESUS, ( Jesus didn’t rebuke them for worshipping him ( see Matthew 14:32-33).
      Bible Commentary:
      www.christianity.com/bible/commentary.php?com=mhc&b=40&c=14
      4. JESUS CLAIMED TO BE GOD:
John 8:57-59, “The people said, "You aren't even fifty years old. How can you say you have seen Abraham?”
58 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I AM!”
59 At that point they picked up stones to throw at him. But Jesus was hidden from them and left the Temple.”
He was referring to himself as the same God of Moses
Exodus 3:13-14, “13 But Moses protested, "If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, 'The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,' they will ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what should I tell them?"
14 God replied to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you."
      Commentary for John 8:59:
      biblehub.com/commentaries/john/8-59.htm
John 10: 30-33, “The Father and I are one."
31 Once again the people picked up stones to kill him.
32 Jesus said, "At my Father's direction I have done many good works. For which one are you going to stone me?"
33 They replied, "We're stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God."

Revelation 22:13, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
As we can see he was referring himself to be the same God spoken of by Isaiah
Isaiah 44:6, “This is what the LORD says--Israel's King and Redeemer, the LORD of Heaven's Armies:
      "I am the First and the Last;
      there is no other God.”

      5. THOMAS CALLS JESUS GOD( Jesus didn’t rebuke him):
John 20.28, “Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don't be faithless any longer. Believe!"
28 “My Lord and my God!" Thomas exclaimed.
29 Then Jesus told him, "You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me."
      6. JESUS IS STATED PLAINLY TO BE GOD:
John 1:1-14, “In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He existed in the beginning with God.
3 God created everything through him,
and nothing was created except through him.
4 The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.
5 The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.
6 God sent a man, John the Baptist,
7 to tell about the light so that everyone might believe because of his testimony.
8 John himself was not the light; he was simply a witness to tell about the light.
9 The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
10 He came into the very world he created, but the world didn't recognize him.
11 He came to his own people, and even they rejected him.
12 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
13 They are reborn--not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.
14 So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father's one and only Son.”
John 1:18, “No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God,is near to the Father's heart. He has revealed God to us.”
      ( see also Hebrews 1:8, Colossians 1:19, Colossians 2:9)
2 Peter 1:1, “This letter is from Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ. I am writing to you who share the same precious faith we have. This faith was given to you because of the justice and fairness of Jesus Christ, our God and Savior.”

      www.biblestudytools.com/commentaries/gills-exposition-of-the-bible/romans-9-5.html
      9. BIBLE SAYS JESUS IS THE VISIBLE IMAGE OF GOD ( of the invisible God):
Collisions 1:15-16, “Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.
He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation,fn
16 for through him God created everything
in the heavenly realms and on earth.
He made the things we can see
and the things we can't see--
such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world.
Everything was created through him and for him.”
      10. BIBLE SAYS JESUS IS THE JUDGE( therefore is God):
The Bible teaches that “God” is judge (1 Sam 2:10; Ps 50:6; Ecc 12:14; many others). But so is Jesus (John 5:22, 27; 9:39; Acts 10:42; 2 Timothy 4:1). Therefore He is God.
      11. JESUS SITS ON THE THRONE IN HEAVEN:
God the Father sits on His throne in heaven (1 Kings 22:19; Psalm 11:4; 47:8). Jesus is on the same throne, too (Revelation 7:17, Revelation 22:1, 3).

but instead of cutting i will add only one more verse before these verse which is number 190 to show you the truth
190 Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors.
191 And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers.
192 And if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
193 Fight them until there is no [more] fitnah and [until] worship is [acknowledged to be] for Allah . But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors.

You’ll notice them lying about Luke 24:19.
Luke 24:19 is the people talking to Jesus after his resurrection. This is not a statement that Jesus is just a prophet. Look at the context. Don’t just copy and paste verses from propaganda websites that spread lies to confuse people. Read it yourself.
    This is the whole chapter:
Luke 1:1-53, “ 1 But very early on Sunday morningfn the women went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared.
2 They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.
3 So they went in, but they didn't find the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes.
5 The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, "Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive?
6 He isn't here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee,
7 that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day."
8 Then they remembered that he had said this.
9 So they rushed back from the tomb to tell his eleven disciples--and everyone else--what had happened.
10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and several other women who told the apostles what had happened.
11 But the story sounded like nonsense to the men, so they didn't believe it.
12 However, Peter jumped up and ran to the tomb to look. Stooping, he peered in and saw the empty linen wrappings; then he went home again, wondering what had happened.
13 That same day two of Jesus' followers were walking to the village of Emmaus, seven milesfn from Jerusalem.
14 As they walked along they were talking about everything that had happened.
15 As they talked and discussed these things, Jesus himself suddenly came and began walking with them.
16 But God kept them from recognizing him.
17 He asked them, "What are you discussing so intently as you walk along?" They stopped short, sadness written across their faces.
18 Then one of them, Cleopas, replied, "You must be the only person in Jerusalem who hasn't heard about all the things that have happened there the last few days."
19 “What things?" Jesus asked. "The things that happened to Jesus, the man from Nazareth," they said. "He was a prophet who did powerful miracles, and he was a mighty teacher in the eyes of God and all the people.
20 But our leading priests and other religious leaders handed him over to be condemned to death, and they crucified him.
21 We had hoped he was the Messiah who had come to rescue Israel. This all happened three days ago.
22 “Then some women from our group of his followers were at his tomb early this morning, and they came back with an amazing report.
23 They said his body was missing, and they had seen angels who told them Jesus is alive!
24 Some of our men ran out to see, and sure enough, his body was gone, just as the women had said."
25 Then Jesus said to them, "You foolish people! You find it so hard to believe all that the prophets wrote in the Scriptures.
26 Wasn't it clearly predicted that the Messiah would have to suffer all these things before entering his glory?"
27 Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 By this time they were nearing Emmaus and the end of their journey. Jesus acted as if he were going on,
29 but they begged him, "Stay the night with us, since it is getting late." So he went home with them.
30 As they sat down to eat,fn he took the bread and blessed it. Then he broke it and gave it to them.
31 Suddenly, their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And at that moment he disappeared!
32 They said to each other, "Didn't our hearts burn within us as he talked with us on the road and explained the Scriptures to us?"
33 And within the hour they were on their way back to Jerusalem. There they found the eleven disciples and the others who had gathered with them,
34 who said, "The Lord has really risen! He appeared to Peter.”
35 Then the two from Emmaus told their story of how Jesus had appeared to them as they were walking along the road, and how they had recognized him as he was breaking the bread.
36 And just as they were telling about it, Jesus himself was suddenly standing there among them. "Peace be with you," he said.
37 But the whole group was startled and frightened, thinking they were seeing a ghost!
38 “Why are you frightened?" he asked. "Why are your hearts filled with doubt?
39 Look at my hands. Look at my feet. You can see that it's really me. Touch me and make sure that I am not a ghost, because ghosts don't have bodies, as you see that I do."
40 As he spoke, he showed them his hands and his feet.
41 Still they stood there in disbelief, filled with joy and wonder. Then he asked them, "Do you have anything here to eat?"
42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish,
43 and he ate it as they watched.
44 Then he said, "When I was with you before, I told you that everything written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and in the Psalms must be fulfilled."
45 Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.
46 And he said, "Yes, it was written long ago that the Messiah would suffer and die and rise from the dead on the third day.
47 It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of his name to all the nations,fn beginning in Jerusalem: 'There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.'
48 You are witnesses of all these things.
49 “And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven."
50 Then Jesus led them to Bethany, and lifting his hands to heaven, he blessed them.
51 While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up to heaven.
52 So they worshiped him and then returned to Jerusalem filled with great joy.
53 And they spent all of their time in the Temple, praising God.”
The context actually shows Jesus as being God.

Jesus said no one comes to the father except by me. And he also said "I am the son of God." Which shows he is saying he is God. Also since there is only one God, it simply means that one God played three different characters: the father, the son, and the holy spirit.

Verses where Jesus directly claims to be the Son of God
John 5:25 I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.
John 10:36 what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, `I am God's Son'?
John 11:4 When he heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it."
John 17:1 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you."
Mark 14:61-62 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?" "I am," said Jesus. "And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."
Verses where Jesus indirectly claims to be the Son of God (or God)
Matthew 11:27 "All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."
John 8:58-59 "I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.
Verses where Jesus allows other to call him the Son of God (or God)
Luke 3:21-22 When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased."
Matthew 4:3-7 The tempter came to him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread." Jesus answered, "It is written: `Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written: "`He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.'" Jesus answered him, "It is also written: `Do not put the Lord your God to the test.'"
John 1:49-50 Then Nathanael declared, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel." Jesus said, "You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You shall see greater things than that."
Matthew 16:15-17 "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven."
John 11:25-27 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" "Yes, Lord," she told him, "I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world."
John 20:28 Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe." Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!" Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
Verses where the narrator of a gospel calls Jesus the Son of God (or God)
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
('The Word' is Jesus, as is obvious from verse 14: 'The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us'.)
John 1:18 No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.
John 3:16-18 (These in fact may be the words of Jesus - the original Greek had no quote marks so it's not always clear). For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
John 20:31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

      Who is Matthew and John?

    • @cannotfindavoice
      @cannotfindavoice Před 9 lety

Sahood Shabbir First before I state who Matthew & John are let me point out these verses within the quran: Surah 3:48, Surah 3:50, Surah 5:44, Surah 5:46, Surah 5.68, Surah 6.154, Surah 6.155, Surah 29:46, Surah 32:23, Surah 43:63, Surah 46.12. The Qur'an forbids anyone, on pain of shameful punishment, from making distinctions between the authority of the apostles and prophets of God, No one is permitted to believe in part and reject a part. Those who presume to do so, it says, are infidels in reality Suras 4:150-152; 2:89; 42:13-15; 29:46-47.
Now for who Matthew & John are, both these two men where Apostles of Jesus, the twelve apostels of Jesus are Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Him. Judas who betrayed him & was always there to betray him was replaced by Bartholomew & as I have already stated you are a true muslim as I presume you are, are told by your quran to read the Bible & on pain of shameful punishment, from making distinctions between the authority of the apostles and prophets of God, No one is permitted to believe in part and reject a part. I hope this helps you understand.

Sahood Shabbir Sir I am sorry to be the one to bring you bad news but!!! When we consider the New Testament, however, we find a completely different scenario. We have today in our possession 5,300 known Greek manuscripts of the New Testament, another 10,000 Latin Vulgates, and 9,300 other early versions (MSS), giving us more than 24,000 manuscript copies of portions of the New Testament in existence today. We have over 10,000 Old Testament manuscripts, the oldest is the Septuagint, or LXX, is the oldest Greek translation of the Old Testament. It was begun around 247 BC by seventy scholars in Alexandria, Egypt for an expanding community of Greek speaking Jews, and was completed no later than 117 BC. Total New Testament manuscripts = 5,300 Greek MSS, 10,000 Latin Vulgates, 9,300 others = 24,000 copies. Besides the 24,000 manuscripts we have more than 15,000 existing copies of the various versions written in the Latin and Syriac (Christian Aramaic), some of which were written as early as 150 A.D., such as the Syriac Peshitta (150-250 A.D.) (McDowell 1972:49; 1990:47). There are also some 86,000 quotations from the early church fathers and several thousand Lectionaries (church-service books containing Scripture quotations used in the early centuries of Christianity). Bottom line: the Old & New Testament has an overwhelming amount of evidence supporting its reliability & age of when it was both wrote & taught. There are Bible that have been written over the last 80 years that do not show the truth & have been altered in some way, but there are still many Bibles that still show the same truth as when it was first given to them by God. This is proven by what I have shown you above, so I am afraid you are wrong in what you have posted sir 100% wrong.
It is obvious that you have access to a computer, therefor I would suggest that before you decide to make a comment on & debate a subject. That you research that subject before you do so that way you can be sure that you have the truth & full information. There are a lot of modern Bibles that words have been changed in & even verses left out of but the main 3 Bibles that are still as they were taught in 70 AD & they are first the King James Version 1611, then we have the American Standard Version 1901 & the last one is the Geneva Bible 1660 & each of these Bible are the same as was taught in 70AD, so I am sorry my friend but your comment is not true. We still have the same Bible as was taught just after Jesus Died.

ibrahim yil, Yes, it means he is God.
Here is John 8:58 with immediate context from the passage:
John 8:51-59, “Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death.” 52 The Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon! Abraham died, as did the prophets, yet you say, ‘If anyone keeps my word, he will never taste death.’ 53 Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? And the prophets died! Who do you make yourself out to be?” 54 Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’ 55 But you have not known him. I know him. If I were to say that I do not know him, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and I keep his word. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.” 57 So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” 59 So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.”
      Also..
Exodus 3:14, “God replied to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. Say this to the people of Israel: I AM has sent me to you."
There’s two reasons why they knew he was claiming to be God.
      1. He claimed to have already existed before Abraham.
      2. He said “I AM”, in the context, he is claiming to not only exist before Abraham, but to say “ before Abraham was, I AM”, it’s him not only claiming to be God, but also claiming to be the same God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob and Moses.

ibrahim yil, 1.
She will give birth to a son,
and they will call him Immanuel,fn
which means 'God is with us.”
      2. JESUS WAS WORSHIPPED BY THE WISE MEN: ( see Matthew 2:1-11)
      3. THE DISCIPLES WORSHIPED JESUS, ( Jesus didn’t rebuke them for worshipping him ( see Matthew 14:32-33).
      5. JESUS CLAIMED TO BE GOD AGAIN:
John 10: 30-33, “The Father and I are one."
31 Once again the people picked up stones to kill him.
32 Jesus said, "At my Father's direction I have done many good works. For which one are you going to stone me?"
33 They replied, "We're stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God."
      6. JESUS CLAIMED TO BE GOD AGAIN:
Revelation 22:13, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”
      7. THOMAS CALLS JESUS GOD( Jesus didn’t rebuke him):
Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don't be faithless any longer. Believe!"
28 “My Lord and my God!" Thomas exclaimed.
29 Then Jesus told him, "You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me."
      9. STATED PLAINLY AGAIN THAT JESUS IS GOD:
John 1:18, “No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God,is near to the Father's heart. He has revealed God to us.”
      10. THE DEMONS IN THE DEMON POSSESSED MEN KNOW HE WAS GOD:
      ( see Matthew 8:28-34).

I find it interesting and educational to listen to people of other faiths speak with such passion. Although the original question was about why the questioner should have his peace taken away, it quickly turned into a 'Jesus never claimed to be God' presentation. Permit me to make a few brief comments :
    1) Since it was Jesus who gave the Great Commission to convert others(first Jews and then gentiles),it is a little ironic that the 'Christian' should complain about the Muslim's attempt to ask him to be a true follower of Jesus.
    2) Dr Zakir Naik repeats the claim ( correctly) that Jesus never specifically claimed to be God Almighty or said " I am God." This is of course because the original; confession of faith of the first believers was that Jesus was the Messiah ( Christ/ Anointed One), the Son of God. This was not a claim that he was the God of Israel. Jesus was a Jew. He prayed to and worshiped YHWH, the God of Israel. He always gave glory to his God. The NT claims that Jesus was executed and raised from the dead by God. Jesus is always in subjection to and subordinate to his Father. 1200 times Jesus is differentiated from Gos in the NT. They are not the same being. Jesus first disciples were all monotheistic Jews who believed in a one peerson God. Thus, the original concern of the first 'Christians' was that Jesus was the promised Messiah, not that he was God Almighty. The belief that Jesus was Godin the sense that many Christians understand today, took centuries to evolve.
    3) However, there are aspects that the good Dr seems to misunderstand. The Law was given to Israel alone, not to all mankind. The Law was to prepare Israel for the coming of the true Messiah who offered himself as the ultimate sacrifice. Christians are not under the Law given to Israel alone. Tne Law is now written on their hearts, not tablets of stone. Finally, the idea that Jesus foretold the coming of Mohammed in the Bible is absurd and betrays a total ignorance of what Jesus said and did. It also shows no understanding of context.

Gerry Quinn ..U have embraced Jesuit Counter reformation falsehood regarding the Law of God. The Law was given to ALL. New Covenant Theology - JESUS our High Priest writes His Law on heart and seals it in mind. Heb 8 - 10 as He lives to intercede for us.....meaning u Manifest that Law by Living it. Revelation 14:12. U do not hide light/life/truth. Mmmm U DENY Jesus commandments as the Muslims do.. They too have been duped by JESUIT Counter reformation theology. Roman Catholicism is truly the System of the Beast (manmade ideology) and the world wonders after the Beast (Revelation 13). Please keep on searching for truth.Read The Great Controversy by Ellen White with the Books of Daniel and The Revelation.

@@shiningstar3312 : Do you offer animal sacrifices? Do you observe the over 600 law statutes? Do you have a blue thread in your garments? No? Why not? This is in the law. The scriptures are clear. The law was given to Israel alone - to prepare them for the coming of the messiah. The law was nailed with Jesus and for Christians, they no longer need to make the sacrifices because Jesus has offered himself once and for all time. Today, the princip;les of the law are written on our hearts and there is no need for Tablets of stone.
