Yeah it's a bit swanky m8, love it
i have the "comfort" seat from bmw with the 15mm raise i believe...but since the seat shape forces your hip in some unnatural position it was only a visual investment so far. On long trips its still far from optimal and way to soft imho. But iam german and ofc not a native ,so communicating with someone from "outside" means leaving my comfortzone. But finding a local dealer with experience in bmw seats and where i can test or see work from them is not that easy.
Most shops like baxxter for example only provide some pictures

I took a risk with the first seat from him, and trusted the opinions of others. With the second seat it was a bit easier. I understand about communication outside of your comfort zone

It should still work, spoke to him only a couple weeks ago, and the work is still rolling in from this video.

On the tiger it was a huge improvement, I found the stock seat very uncomfortable. I'm not a football fan, but hope Sean Dyche is some handsome chap lol
Congrats, Your XR is a very nice looking one. I´m Thinking about a Sw-Motech Protector, but it transmits the feeling that if the bike has a simple side drop, the fairing hits the ground first. I would like to see some side picture of it, can you please get me that? You cant find it anywhere on google. Thanks

just bought this exact custom seat from Elsemade with both gel inserts and exact same style. only difference is that mine came in at £300?

Good vid - I've just bought an XR in red. I really like the screen and exhaust. Please can you tell me what make/models they are?
The exhaust is the Cobra Hyper shots, and the screen is the stock one that I sprayed with liquid vinyl.

I did yes! The gen 2 is much different and will need looking at. It promotes a very neutral sitting position which I'm not a fan of.
Evening Shaun. The seat looks great mate. Did you get him to raise the seat slightly as I have the extra 15mm on the comfort seat. I would be interested to hear your view on the seat after you have used it for a while. Cheers Dave

It is slightly higher but not much. Yeah will keep you posted, haven't been out for a longer ride as the weather is terrible.
So are all the fittings are taken from the original seat? & is the seat is still adjustable if it was before?

Yes it's still the same fittings as the original seat, but the s1000xr isn't adjustable even with the stock seat

Not been far on it yet, but happy so far seems more comfortable. The first seat I had done from him was a huge difference on longer rides, so don't imagine this one to be any difference

Hi Dude, I just bought brand new 2019 xr with HP Comfort seat not ridden it much yet, but.... will there be much difference if I got an elsemade? I suffer with arthritis and tailbone pain. I'm worried that if this HP Seat from BMW Doesn't cut it then, I won't be able to ride much. I'm looking for something that will transform my comfort/pain levels.

Haven't sat on the HP Seat, but my custom seat was way better than the stock seat.

I have the HP BMW seat currently on my S1000XR and I like the height but not the comfort or quality. Do you know if I would lose any height if I got the same seat as yours?

Thanks for your quick reply as always. I have sent a request for information through their contact page. I am also considering the Cobra exhaust as well. Love all of your videos. I hope to travel the mountains of Colorado and Utah in a few months and would like a more comfortable seat for this tour.
