I'm retired from hoboing I frist hoped train was in Southern California I was hitchhiking east on ten was hot train stopped and i needed a drink of warteri saw this guy get out of the couboes and started walking the train and there was another guy in the coubos and I walked over and asked for water and he gave me six bottles of water and I asked where the train was going and he said Texas it was late eav and I said to my self by the time that other one gets back it will be dark and just hop on and they won't se me bye that time it started moving a car had picked up the other guy and took him back to the couboes and i swong up in a box car and got off in yuma az.
Look at the yellow boxcar and see a bicycle going the other direction.

I swear it looks like a bicycle going the opposite direction as those two RAILBOX cars go by. 💀
I hope that bridge gets inspected frequently by competent people.

That bridge is like 300' tall, I guarantee you they inspect the fuq out of that thing. The speed trains are allowed to run on it means it's a *THICK* bridge.

Is that the old Pope Lick trestle? If so, yeah, that’s one long trestle. You better be committed once you start crossing. High as hell too. Not to mention the Pope Lick monster.

Cool we had a 1/2 mile long tunnel to party in , 90 outside , 55 inside with running water to keep beers cold 😮😮😮😅 forever sweet 😮😮❤❤
At the end that was a bird taking off in the oppisite direction, NOBODY can run that fast on the tracks then fly up.
I've seen turkey vultures lined up on High Bridge many times!
It looked like a wild Turkey.

Structures built in 20s30s40s almost always outlast everything built in 60s or later. This bridge will be around longer than bridges built in 2000.
After the 2nd horn If you look you see what looks to be an emu (not even kidding) running from right to left where the train came from. idk what it is but it looks like one

the amount of weight going over that bridge is insane . those locomotives alone weigh over 200.000 + lbs each thats over 200 + hundred tons just in locomotives. then you have the box cars 150.000 lbs each . that bridge is holding that all up in between support columns . that engineer must just love that. i would be worried some idiot was trying to derail my train up there. he is not doing any heavy braking or pulling on that bridge , probably running restricted speed.

I’m not even sure if that was a person. Even with the train go in the opposite direction he was running 30 miles an hour.

I live in Kentucky. Where do you watch trains? I have been wanting to watch them but want to do it the correct way and safely. I live in louisville and know of a few tracks but I'm not sure what schedules the trains that run through here are on.

that's normal for a train to blow it's horn when coming up to a crossing.

i saw the fool running the opposite direction of the train in front of the box cars . there is not much room up on that deck on the side when the train is going past.if he gets off it alive i don't think he will be back.
