I'd turn around and walk straight out of the Karm store. Those prices were higher than going to normal retail stores. Good grief!
That Karm store shouldn’t call itself a thrift store. Crazy prices.
In Seattle it is so bad I can buy new for about the same price. Goodwill today: Top I liked was $14.99. Some silk ties I saw were $12.99 each as opposed to $2-3 for a nice one just awhile back. Sorry to whine. I know I'm not alone in this.
I used to go to the thrift stores every week, but now I only go maybe once every 2-3 months and usually don't get much. It's insane how high things have gotten. There are a few smaller, local stores I go to that aren't quite as high. Savers and Goodwill are just stupid high, I see so many things that are as high or even higher than they would've been new. That Karm store's prices were crazy!
I rarely go to any regular thrift stores any more. Luckily for me there are 3 Goodwill Bins locations within an hour of me.
