I saw you had time codes in the description and I wanted to let you know that there is a feature in youtube that allows you split up your video depending on the time code. So instead of... Basic Combos - 00:03 You can change it to... 00:00 - Title 00:03 - Basic Combos For the feature to work, you need 00:00 to be there. Then the video will automatically be split up and you'll be able to see when a section starts and ends. Besides that, nice video!

1 - I can't say a favorite honest... I like UMVC3 game better, but when it comes to Spidey combos I can't say UMVC3 wins, cause MVCI has some absurd combos! But can't say MVCI wins as well cause UMVC3 combos are also too good, so I'd say that's a category both games are tied... 2 - Wave Dash is pressing Down + 2 Attack buttons... I think it's easier than Plinking honestly, but the problem is that you can't wave dash back as fast as plink dash back... Also, plink dash gives you a better mobility in the air and option select to get grabs...
@@OneHeroes The movement in this game is really the only thing keeping me out. Getting those dash inputs to be consistent is hard as fuck for me, even playing on stick I know it comes with practice, but it feels so integral to gameplay that I feel like I have to learn it first
I know what you mean, but don't be discouraged by the movement... Even if you can't plink consistently, you can still be very strong and dangerous... I can't plink consistently for example, but I use wave dashing and special movement like air dashing/Web Glide and stuff like that to move around...

After Launcher, do only 1 M instead of 2... Like Launcher SuperJump M H H Web Swing Maximum Spider... It will work muuuuch easier... To get the 2 Ms to work you gotta do everything as perfectly as possible, so it's much harder to land...

Thanks! Yes, you gotta do everything perfectly timed to get it like that... The tip I can give you to make this much easier to hit and very reliable, is to use only j.M j.H H Web Swing instead of j.M j.M j.H H Web Swing... It's one less M, so the damage will be slightly lower, but it will be muuuuch more consistent!
I used to have this problem back in the day...To make it work you have to use the Light version of Spider Sting and leave the opponent higher before using Spider Sting/Spider Bite... This way you're gonna have more time for conversion!

The dashes gotta be pretty well timed to get the most optimal combos... If you're having some trouble, try switching the S after the web glide for a H... The combos are not gonna be as damaging but you'll be more consistent probably!

I wish you had inputs on. In advanced combos web throws plink dash into down medium confirms. How? I sometimes get it but I don’t know why, I’m definitely not consistent. I know to be fast just not sure when to plink after web throw and when to down medium. Help. Great video btw!
The timings are quite hard to explain, but I recommend you slow down the speed of the video to 0.5 or 0.25 and watch it slowly for the time to start plinking... The Down Medium after the Plinking you just do as soon as you finish the third plink and it should work
I'm having trouble with the combo at 0:37. On the 17th hit of the combo, I see that the Web Swing does 18,000 damage, which means it has to be an H Web Swing. I cannot for the life of me get an H version of Web Swing to connect that late in the combo. I can get L and M swings to hit, but then the super doesn't connect when I cancel into it. Help?
Yes, it's a H Web Swing... Honestly, this combo you have to do as fast as possible to get, I used to have problems with it as well in the begging... If you do one less M in the air before the Web Swing it should work easily! Or try switching the Spider Sting H for Spider Sting L... Try one of these 2 options and the combo should work a lot easier! If you want to do exactly like in the video, you gotta do as fast as possible!

Try practicing your plink dashing or wave dashing a little more... See which of them you feel more confourtable with and go for it! You can use both, doesn't necessarily need to be Plink or Wave...
You're gonna have to use either perfect timing Wave Dashes or Plink Dashes... Wave Dashing you press 2 attack buttoms + Down on the exact same time (to do "Perfect" wave dashes) and Plink Dashing you gotta press L+M + H all the same time as well... It can be tricky, requires some practice...
Although im glad there’s decent videos online as this, they need to be improved on. As someone who’s new to actively playing this game, it’s extremely hard to figure combos out due to lack of explanation in combo videos like this. There needs to be inputs displayed on screen with any notes like “delay here” to or “hold” etc. I shouldnt have to put the playback to .25 and sit and decipher the video and be like, “okay did he use m version or x super, is he dashing here, etc”
The older videos didn't have inputs on screen, but after recieving feedback, I added to the solo combos from that point on... If you have any specific doubts on a combo, you can timestamp for me and ask me your doubt... I'll do my best to help you!

Most of the time, it's H Web Swing in the air and L Web Swing on the ground... There are a few combos where I do L Web Swing in the air, in case you have doubt, timestamp the specific combo and I'll tell you! But it's never M Web Swing

There are a few possibilities on why you're dropping the combo... If you can timestamp the combo you're trying, I can give you the proper advice, since depending on the combo it will be for a different reason

Spidey has some good synergy with Deadpool, Iron Man and Viper, not so much with Morrigan... I would recommend trying him with those 3 and see if you enjoy them! Other good choices could be Doom, Dormammu, Hulk, Dante, Shuma-Gorath... Spidey is quite unique so using him might feel strange at first, but don't give up, he's got potential! If you wanna learn to use him, the best advice I could give you is to watch Spider-Man beeing used in the game so that you can understand how he works... Yes, it's still H Web Swing... This combo is very hard to hit like I did in the video, since you need to do everything ASAP... Remove one of the j.M and you'll get it consistently

I know I’m not the uploader, but I do use Spider-Man. Best trick is to watch Spider-Man while you do the web zip. Once you see Spidey get close to whoever you plan on otg’ing, use S. To get a good feel for the timing, try using S while you land instead of H as it’s easier to connect.

I never add the notations for my combo videos... If you're having trouble understanding the combos, try slowing down the speed of the video... You can slow it down to 75%, 50% or 25% of the original speed... This way you'll be able to see move by move and it will be sooooooo much easier to see what's going on! If you still have any specific doubts even after slowing it down, leave it here and I'll try to help you!

E obviamente, tentar dar o Web Throw assim que possível depois do Spider Bite

To plink you have to use LM + H... Before the super it's a Heavy Spider Sting

I always have trouble Web-Throwing right after a Spider-Sting 🥺
I used to have this problem back in the day...To make it work you have to use the Light version of Spider Sting and leave the opponent higher before using Spider Sting/Spider Bite... This way you're gonna have more time for conversion!
I'm having so much trouble with post Web Throw follow-ups, how well fo you have to time those dashes? lol

The dashes gotta be pretty well timed to get the most optimal combos... If you're having some trouble, try switching the S after the web glide for a H... The combos are not gonna be as damaging but you'll be more consistent probably!

Hahaha Funny you should ask me... In general, everybody will recommend you use him on point, and indeed he's probably best used on point position... Personally, I use him on any position, most of the time on anchor since it's the character I fell the most confortable and confident with

I wish you had inputs on. In advanced combos web throws plink dash into down medium confirms. How? I sometimes get it but I don’t know why, I’m definitely not consistent. I know to be fast just not sure when to plink after web throw and when to down medium. Help. Great video btw!
The timings are quite hard to explain, but I recommend you slow down the speed of the video to 0.5 or 0.25 and watch it slowly for the time to start plinking... The Down Medium after the Plinking you just do as soon as you finish the third plink and it should work

I'm having trouble with the combo at 0:37. On the 17th hit of the combo, I see that the Web Swing does 18,000 damage, which means it has to be an H Web Swing. I cannot for the life of me get an H version of Web Swing to connect that late in the combo. I can get L and M swings to hit, but then the super doesn't connect when I cancel into it. Help?
Yes, it's a H Web Swing... Honestly, this combo you have to do as fast as possible to get, I used to have problems with it as well in the begging... If you do one less M in the air before the Web Swing it should work easily! Or try switching the Spider Sting H for Spider Sting L... Try one of these 2 options and the combo should work a lot easier! If you want to do exactly like in the video, you gotta do as fast as possible!

Try practicing your plink dashing or wave dashing a little more... See which of them you feel more confourtable with and go for it! You can use both, doesn't necessarily need to be Plink or Wave...
How do I dash cancel fast enough to catch up after web throw? I can do jump dash and web zip
You're gonna have to use either perfect timing Wave Dashes or Plink Dashes... Wave Dashing you press 2 attack buttoms + Down on the exact same time (to do "Perfect" wave dashes) and Plink Dashing you gotta press L+M + H all the same time as well... It can be tricky, requires some practice...
Although im glad there’s decent videos online as this, they need to be improved on. As someone who’s new to actively playing this game, it’s extremely hard to figure combos out due to lack of explanation in combo videos like this. There needs to be inputs displayed on screen with any notes like “delay here” to or “hold” etc. I shouldnt have to put the playback to .25 and sit and decipher the video and be like, “okay did he use m version or x super, is he dashing here, etc”
The older videos didn't have inputs on screen, but after recieving feedback, I added to the solo combos from that point on... If you have any specific doubts on a combo, you can timestamp for me and ask me your doubt... I'll do my best to help you!
@@OneHeroes yeah thats my bad on not looking at the date it was posted. to be honest, currently, you are basically the only person on yt to even have any good tutorials on the game so props on that.. One suggestion i have though is that if there is a delayed input or a held input, you should explain that. some of us are idiots (me specifically) and it would really save on learning time. also, maybe some voice over tutorials to help further elaborate on whats going on.

Most of the time, it's H Web Swing in the air and L Web Swing on the ground... There are a few combos where I do L Web Swing in the air, in case you have doubt, timestamp the specific combo and I'll tell you! But it's never M Web Swing

Sorry man, I have no notations for this video, I started putting Inputs on my new combo videos, but the older ones I didn't... But, I can tell you that The Web Swing version is pretty much always LIGHT on the ground and HEAVY in the air...
Hey, I wanted to ask how you pull off some of the basic combos? Specifically ending with web swing, for example the web swing into spider sting into launcher, I'm having trouble landing maximum spider after cancelling web swing, even though I feel like I'm cancelling it as fast as I can? Basically what I'm asking is how do you do web swing into maximum spider when the hitstun decay is already so high? I'm a beginner to both umvc3 and spiderman, so I'd really appreciate the feedback
There are a few possibilities on why you're dropping the combo... If you can timestamp the combo you're trying, I can give you the proper advice, since depending on the combo it will be for a different reason

I wanna try playing Spidey in this game. However, I learned more from Marvel Infinite than this one, the combos are... different. Is there any tips to use him solo? also what characters are good with him? I wanna try with Deadpool and Morrigan or maybe C-Viper and Iron Man.
Spidey has some good synergy with Deadpool, Iron Man and Viper, not so much with Morrigan... I would recommend trying him with those 3 and see if you enjoy them! Other good choices could be Doom, Dormammu, Hulk, Dante, Shuma-Gorath... Spidey is quite unique so using him might feel strange at first, but don't give up, he's got potential! If you wanna learn to use him, the best advice I could give you is to watch Spider-Man beeing used in the game so that you can understand how he works... I'm gonna leave some videos here where I play him with the characters that you enjoy, but seeing Spidey beeing played with anyone would be productive too!

I'm not sure... I think that if you time it perfectly it is... But it's got be like PERFECTLY! But even if you don't get it as best as possible you're still gonna catch most people most of the time, this reset is ridiculous haha

Yes, it's still H Web Swing... This combo is very hard to hit like I did in the video, since you need to do everything ASAP... Remove one of the j.M and you'll get it consistently

I know I’m not the uploader, but I do use Spider-Man. Best trick is to watch Spider-Man while you do the web zip. Once you see Spidey get close to whoever you plan on otg’ing, use S. To get a good feel for the timing, try using S while you land instead of H as it’s easier to connect.

What I recommend to be able to do it consistently is to only do J.M/J.H and H Web Swing after launcher... If you do J.M/J.M/J.H H Web Swing like I did in the video, you're gonna drop in case you haven't done everything else as fast as possible...

I never add the notations for my combo videos... If you're having trouble understanding the combos, try slowing down the speed of the video... You can slow it down to 75%, 50% or 25% of the original speed... This way you'll be able to see move by move and it will be sooooooo much easier to see what's going on! If you still have any specific doubts even after slowing it down, leave it here and I'll try to help you!

Cara, Web Throw depois do Spider Bite eh chatinho de acertar mesmo pq o Timing eh meio estreito, mas a ideia eh tu tentar deixar o cara o mais alto possível antes de dar o Spider Sting/Spider Bite e usar o Spider Sting L pro Aranha voltar pro chão o mais rápido possível... E obviamente, tentar dar o Web Throw assim que possível depois do Spider Bite
