Veil bellydance performance. Choreography to the song 'Yearning' by Cynthia Dorrestijn (at the front of the stage). Costumes were custom made by bellybelle.be. The Open Stage was organized by @LaetanaBellyDance and took place at theaterdespeeldoos.nl (Vught). Video was recorded and edited by @kamielvandekruijs8449 .
It is the music that makes the dance. The emotional melody line of this song is very strong and that is why the choreography was mainly melody-inspired. It was a challenge to create a dance that was feasible for all levels. Some ladies had just started taking belly dance lessons less than a year ago. For some, it was their first stage experience.
