Ganda ng build quality. Looked at one sa dealer on two separate occassions. Pagbukas at pagsara ko ng pinto, maganda ang weight. Yung ibang brand parang masisisira ko yung pinto. And that headunit is even better than top end variants ng iba.

My real owner review. i also own an xl 4x4 ranger next gen and an everest trend next gen both single turbo and pareho specs ang makina. Mas mabagal ang manual xl kesa sa everest trend na automatic. Sarap tapak sa everest na auto , kahit may turbo lag sumisirit pa rin kaagad, walang kabitin bitin. Sa xl, di maganda ratio ng 2nd gear, garalgal o mamatay ang makina pag nalingat ka. Nasanay ako sa response ng everest kaya inip na inip ako pag ranger dala ko.
Mas maganda naman ang xl kasi walang traction control. Walang magloloko na electronic traction control, hill hold assist. Sa everest kailangan i off mo yong traction control pag medyo loose gravel o dirt yong inaatrasan or minamaniobra mo. Hand brake is mechanical, which is better than the electronic handbrake in the everest or higher model rangers na pwedeng magloko ang electronic control niya. old style rotary igniton switch, halogen headlights ang xl ranger , which i prefer specially during rainy nights.
Mas matagtag din ang ranger kaya binaba ko to 25 psi para ma aproximate yong comfort ng everest. Sa everest naman, masyadong malambot ang ride niya and side to side ang movement ang ma fe-feel mo along the highway. Tinaasan ko naman to 38 psi ang pressure, and mas maganda and stable na ride niya even sa kurbada. magkaiba nga pala tire size nila.
Pinaka ayaw ko sa dalawa is yong location ng electric motor ng power steering assist nila. Nasa pinakamababang portion ng front differential ng ranger or suspension sa everest ang location niya. Delikado sa bahaan pag lumutong na yong harness and connectors niya after a few years. Kinain ng daga yong harness na malapit sa elctric motor ng everest , kaya compromised kaagad ang steering ko. walang traction control, hill hold assist and pawis steering ang nangyari. Since walang stock ng harness ni repair lang ng Ford so di rin ako sure kung water proof pa rin yong connection after the repair , so iwas baha na ang everest. Bagong harness is 36 k and by order pa. Di sinagot ng Ford warranty and ng insurance ang damage and repair na to.
Since parehong wet oil type ang timing belt ng 2.0 na to and yong ford ecosports, isang pwedeng magiging concern is yong naging problema ng ecosports. Iba yong belt ng oil pump and yong timing belt pero parehas location na nasa loob ng makina and engine oil ang bumabasa sa belt . Pwedeng ok pa yong timing belt and tumatakbo pa pero pag naunang naputol yong oil pump belt, then kakatok o mag se seize yong bearings or piston ng makina mo due to low or no oil pressure. Isa pang naging problema ng wet oil belt type ng ecosports is self clogging oil pump due to tensioner or belt wear debris na nag babara sa oil pump.
Summary:
The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) has received 95 consumer complaints alleging engine failure
due to loss of oil pressure in model year (MY) 2018-2021 Ford EcoSport vehicles. Some consumers
report a low engine oil pressure warning lamp immediately preceding a complete loss or reduction of
motive power while the vehicle is in motion. This may be due to a failed engine oil pump assembly.
Engine replacement is required due to the nature of this failure.
ODI has opened this Preliminary Evaluation (PE) to determine the scope and severity of the alleged

So the 10 speed automatic is most responsive than the 6 speed manual despite the everest vbeing more heavy?
@@LuisGuillermoMoreno He does not have the 10 speed everest. Both (ranger xl & everest trend) are 6 speed single turbo. Only the wildtrack 4x4, RR, & everest titanium 4x4 utilizes bi-turbo & 10 speed

the advantage of disk and drum break is not stopping power, its endurance on prolonged usage aside from it looks better (pop culture. disk brakes have better heat dissipation capability. in fact drum break have better stopping power due to more surface contact between friction materials. 😁

In the United States the trucks started going over to disc brakes in the back but what started happening is farmers and rural people were having issues with rocks jamming in the brake calipers and destroying the rotors. They changed back to drums and the problem was solved.
Why didn't they go to drum breaks in the front then. Anti lockndisc brakes are far superior to any drum brake.

ganda niyan. installan lang nang Profender Queen series lift. replace stock wheels/tires with KO2 BFG tires and Fuel Shok/Nitro/Covert/Vector wheels

With my 2019 xls 4x4 mt, offroading every month to the mountain barrios for work, river crossing, (tapos na Odette😛 pa) i can say it is reliable and tough. After almost 5 years now, with regular maintenance no issues. Except from dents and scratches due to rocks, twigs, bamboos, stones, etc. Even by just using the H4 it can tacle climbing a muddy terrain. I only used L4 twice during Odette but a little bit worry because no difflock on this model. i think the new model with difflock and a tab has more value.

Palitan lang ng Mag wheels yan di na halatang low end haha ganda pala nito..
i have a t8 ranger raptor and i can say that this base model has far more better features when looking at the conveniences and majority of the stuff, even the small details like the space below the airbag on the passenger's side.
Put a set of factory higher trim wheels/tires and it will no longer look like a base car. 30,000 to 40,000 pesos for a set of take-offs can make it look so much more expensive.
I think this is the best buy model for those wanting to heavily modify their unit for off road overland. But as it is in stock form, it is already a beautiful classic looking pickup truck that can be kept for a long time.

Pero when you mention reliability hindi rn lahat ng model s Toyota reliable. I have a friend 2nd facelift ng Wigo nya nsa 30k pa takbo pero nka check engine na tapos low power hanggang 60k lang takbo.
Iba pa rin toyota pagdating sa reliability. Dami ngang old models na toyota sa daan. Pero pupusuan ko tong ranger sport this month inaantay ko lang lumabas officially yung triton. puro stalk na ko sa forums ng ford ranger group and even nakahanap na ko ng shop dito samin na ford specialist kuno. Ayun tama naman halos ford pinapaayos heavy pm etc. ang nakakadiscourage ng konti ung engine overhaul na post nila sa mga last gen raptors kasi walang reverse, jerky transmission etc.bago pa ung mga raptor kungt tutuusin pero baba engine na.
Ask ko lang sa 4x4 system nya sir,. Sa 4H specifically,. Pwede po i-enggage ito on well paved roads like pag slippery,.? Parang sa 4WD System ng Mitsubishi na Super Select,. Thanks,.
i almost bought that car, sobrang sulit kasi. but i don't like the belt-in-oil timing belt, and i really don't wanna be clutching that heavy long-travel pickup clutch. so i ended up getting a jimny automatic for the same price. no regrets coz the jimny will be more reliable in the long run, fords are only great when they're new
not really. We own several ford ranger wildtrak 2016 model 4x2 for our company. araw araw gamit ng mga tao yung ibang unit 120k+ mileage na still in good running condition.

Try mo ilusong sa baha kung kaya ang 800mm ng jimny mo. Atsaka kargahan mo din ng 1ton ang jimny mo. Hahaha. Poor man's jeep wrangler talaga.
Not true. Owned an 2013 everest. Issue for 10 years.. aircon needs recharging. Yun lang. Jimmny is more on cult following. Not enough functionality.
@@manugatzi6158 haha we have 3 fords in the family, including an older model ranger. personally i own a ford right now. so i know that they're shit cars but they're great when they're new like i said earlier. 100k na yan so malapit nang mag fix or repair daily yan hahahaha. i'm enjoying my ford right now kasi 23k palang ang odometer. sa honda ko 100k is just barely broken in. so please don't compare fords to suzukis and hondas, fords just aren't on the same level of reliability. just look at all the 80's suzuki jimnies, carry, and every still running today. nasaan na yung mga 80's fords? sa junkyard

After sales butas bulsa mo dito dami electronics, incase may masira mga 3 years +. So I opted for Toyota Hilux J 4x4. Nice review.
wala tong electronics pang karga lang talaga to na variant Yung wildtrak lang dami electronics,sensors lalo na yung handbrake madami ako nakit nag overheat kaya nag sport ranger nlnag ako till now 12k mileage bought in dec 1 walang issues

Parts availability ba kamo?. Noon pa un, ngayon kahit na sa province ka marami narin tindahan ng auto parts at meron pang Lazada/Shopee. Meron akong fina-follow na mekaniko, may mga parts din ng Toyota na hindi avlble kaya mag order pa cla.

good day sir, what can you say about those rumors regarding issues on reliability of ford ranger models here in the Philippines? i might consider getting this this variant but the only thing that holds me back is the rumors i heard about ford ranger's reliability. i'm choosing between this model and the soon to be released triton 2024 gl 4x4.
I have been hearing about reliability issues ng Ford but i think its manageable. There are many Fords on the road so I think Ok naman sya.

Ang best base model ung triton 4x4. Mas mura sa lahat ng yan at tadtad ng feature. Si triton papalit ng strada. Naka mags pa.
