Looking forward to live in HD it is such a much underplayed Gem. I still listen to my long held recording with Anna Moffo. Thanks to Met in HD we can get to see these promotions across the globe. Loved the Met when I was in NY in the 1980s.

Great Italian diction and of course a wonderful debut by Mr. T. Genuine squillo in fortissimi. Didn't Korngold pinch this tune for a movie? Yes. He did. Lloyd Webber did too.................
