She's great and all, but I wish they'd save the global range gimmick for the 6* chain medic and give her some form of ailment reflection instead. Sure, operator inflicted elemental damage is still experimental but it probably would have given her more usability other than healing. Also global range healing Passenger would be funny.
S1 has really strong HPS at M3, equivalent to Lumen S3 when accounting for the extra healing from talent 1. Elemental HPS is also incredibly strong too. And that’s considering 1 person, she can heal 2. S2 can provide a barrier that prevents elemental effects 4 times over, with over 4k barrier. S3 can provide good burst HPS, but mainly it’s best for the +30% global max hp and 60% elemental DR.
..or we can just ignore the operator and use Honeyberry like you always did : ) My two most-used operators are Schwarz and Siege - and after Pozi and Saga release, nothing changed at all just ignoring inconveniences is the proper way!
Shining gives defense, that was always her gimmick. That won't change. She still will be better if you need that extra defense. Healing can't help a dead operator after all, while defense works against any number of attacks. That being said, medics in general are rather...replaceable for people with established rosters. For most regular maps, you can make-do with the likes of Myrtle (healing vanguards), Saria or self-healing units like Mountain, Thorns or Mudrock. Many enemies cannot even dent the the tankier operators in the standard stages of events or in regular main story missions in the first place. If you have her, Skadi alter is more than enough to heal many operators in even many of the challenge maps. And then you have Kal'tsit that is technically a medic, but everyone knows that she's used for Monst3r...but she is often enough for the random heal now and then when your roster is already broken.
Silence and Skalter are not quite the same though hmmm. Those are more like pseudo-global. It's like the Pozyomka vs Goldenglow/Ambriel situation but for healing instead.
A 6* being the best for their specific class is very different from being better than the entirety of a role. This is like complaining about Mylnar doing more damage than the 5* & 4* Liberation Guards. Or Mountain being better than the 5* & 4* Brawlers. Or Saria being better than the 5* & 4* Healing Defenders. The 6* of course would outperform the 5* & 4*. Been like this since the beginning. This "controversy" is just a whole load of nothing burger. Like, Eyjalter is just pure healing, specialized in Elemental damage. Like how Shining is just pure healing against Physical. And Nightingale is a pure healing for Res.
@@stgrll1833 Precisely. And what does Eyjalter bring to the utility side aside from just healing Elemental damage? This whole controversy against Eyjalter just seems so pointless. I'm sorry man, you don't like eyja alter, shame, sucks to be you, just don't go around spitting subjective opinion like it is objective truth.
