Bangalore is full of surprises if you dig deep in. Now stop wondering where to dig and think about venturing into the Lakshmipuram graveyard.
Well, the goddess Kali temple is in the midst of the Lakshmipuram graveyard. Supposedly one of the biggest graveyard in Bengaluru.
More than ten years in Bengaluru, I had never heard about this temple. It was only recently when my relative took me there. The temple was live with lots of devotees.
The surroundings were also equally interesting. For a moment, you will forget all shortcomings in life and feel lucky for being alive.
I said live temple, because almost all Hindu graveyards will have a small temple with no priest to perform any rituals. However, this Kali temple in Lakshmipuram graveyard was full of devotees from faraway places. The temple priest was a woman.
While the temple is open all days, it is crowded during the dark-moon day (Amavasya). This place is not for regular tourists but for those who like to explore.

The main reason the Amman special is if we want to know about thing before to do any work we can keep the lemon on her and ask if it falls from her whatever we ask it will get success otherwise no please postpone the work or marriage etc etc etc.....
