Dear Amina and Hassan, I want to bring an another important issue to your notice. A drama, Dar khud se is on air these days on geo. There is a character, on the sideline, called Seema. She is shown to be a care free, narcissist who enjoys flirting, leaving one boy for another, a better option, as she thinks no boy can resist her beauty. A boy throws acid on her and all characters including herself call it KARMA, a saza for her deeds, (Ep. 37). I was appalled to see how the writer justified the acid attack as a punishment, rather than a crime, insinuating that girls who have acid thrown on them are bad. Please from your platform, strongly condemn, the writer, who ever it may be ,all associated with making and allowing such nonsense to go on air.

The emotional and physical pain is more more than dying. It sometimes needs surgeries upto a 100. They could have shown an accident as a saza. Also the girl's rishta should have been shown to be rejected due to her character and not because of physical appearance. The message should have been that character is more important then physical beauty. Instead the message the writer gave was that the girls who get acid thrown on their faces are of bad character and therefore deserve that.

When you venture into something, you need to keep a certain standard and have to compete, no excuses.

I don't think Mir Farooq tried to hit on a married Humaira. What happened was Humaira and Mir Farooq were buds in Islamabad. I know they met in Islamabad because that's where Humaira said she came from and we all know Mir Farooq lived in Islamabad before marriage and he brought his wife, who was originally born in Lahore, from New York to Islamabad after marrying her. Besides, the pictures in Mir Farooq's laptop were of a Humaira wearing revealing Western clothes, the kind of clothes that weren't suitable attire at Darya Bagh given the climate and Humaira's marital and parental status, as well as her choice.
While in Islamabad, Mir Farooq wanted to take things to the next level with a single Humaira, but he wasn't really Humaira's brand of a perfect partner, so she turned him down very politely and said, "We will remain friends but nothing more, sorry, no hard feelings". It is possible Mir Farooq did not take the rejection too well.
Then Humaira met Obaidullah, and denied herself food until her parents agreed to give her hand to him. She moved to the mountains with her husband who was posted as a forest officer, and had Amaan and Ayesha.
In the meantime, Mir Farooq went to New York for higher studies, met Nilofer at a party and proposed. He visited Darya Bagh some time after marriage with his wife and two year old daughter, Aina, during holidays. In this visit he never saw Humaira because Obaidullah had not been posted there as a forest officer back then. If he had been posted, Nilofer and Humaira would have certainly met then as Nilofer remarked three years later, on meeting Humaira, who agreed.
Mr. and Mrs. Farooq and Aina spent the next three annual vacations in New York with Aina's maternal grandparents.
When Aina was five, the family visited Darya Bagh again during holidays. There Nilofer and Humaira met and Humaira thought the fact that Nilofer's husband, the one with the "charming personality" was also named Farooq, like her former admirer, was a mere coincidence.
Apparently, the hurt caused to Mir Farooq's pride had not fully healed and when he found out who Humaira had picked instead of him, he decided Humaira and her family's time was up. He was no Severus Snape who could let Lily pick James Potter and still love her until his dying breath.
One fine day, Mir Farooq appeared fearlessly out of the forest with his henchman, gun in hand, and stood before a land cruiser when the car was halted by a tree branch just lying in the middle of the road. Amaan was out of Mir Farooq's sight looking for his football in a dense forest.
When Obaidullah left the car to remove the obstacle, Mir Farooq and Ali Baksh shot down Humaira, her husband and anyone else in the car. The murderers put Obaidullah back behind the steering wheel and pushed the car down into the river to make it look like an accident.

Guys the room was decorated in classic French wooden furniture of Victorian era design. So it was apt.
Just to point out whatever Saira said to Mir Farooq and the unknown caller story was not from her cos she is not that smart at all. It was all pre-planned by Aman before going on honeymoon. If you recall, there was a muted scene where he explains his plot to Saira and how she can help him trap Farooq! So the whole twist is coming from Amaan!!!

I think Aman knew that she remembered nothing. It’s been established that he was closely following Mir Farooq and his family. He knew about Mir Farooq’s secret wife, he knew his wife was being followed by Mir Farooq’s men because he suspected she was lying to him, he knew who Mir Farooq’s friends were and he became close to them to be close to Mir Farooq. So in conclusion, it’ll be easy to deduce that Aman knew many aspects of their lives very closely and knew that Anna had blocked out all her memory of this sordid affair

I love yeh dil mera..it’s intriguing, interesting & something new . Enough of Saas Bahu crap . Yeh dil mera is entertaining. I don’t see anyone’s acting when ahad is around as he’s too natural . In yakeen ka safar , sajal gives him tough competition but in this one ahads acting is nothing but perfect .
Sajal is always there to give tough competition .. I think both of them are professionals and extremely talented .. and also miss Yakeen Ka Safar a lot.

I disagree with your discussion on kaheen deep jalay where you say that if Rida reciprocated the love letters, Zeeshan's anger would be justified. People are free to date whoever they want before getting married and their past relationships should not affect the current ones. Pakistani dramas always show how men get angry over their wife's past relationships whereas women don't even bat an eye. Neither a woman nor a man has a right to be angry about their spouses' past relationships. It's 2020 and this messed up mentality needs to die down.

Hassan ,you missed the magic fireplace in ye dil mera;when aman brings Aina inside,the fire is crackling merrily.A few seconds later the fire disappears.it reappears the next moment..It was a little hard to ignore for me.someone needs to pay attention to the sequence/continuity of scenes ,esp. in good dramas.

I just wanted to point out a trivia, since its become a habit of mine too thnx to u both...in YDM(the only drama i watch during the week) they showed a broken swing but whn aina fell off the swing in her childhood it wasnt broken..the younger Amaan is shown holding it. P.s. the drama is amazing n the actors especially Ahad n Sajal r a treat to watch

Amaan is a master mind of all the game he had a sharp eye on Mir Farooq and aina since very long .He might knew that Aina visits a psychiatrist and that psychiatrist said that Aina should revisit her childhood so that se may remember her childhood repressed memory due to trauma and that's why Amaan is taking Aina to daryabaagh so that she know her father's reality as he know she will not believe him because she is sooo in love with his father.
